J1078 Posted September 21, 2018 Posted September 21, 2018 We are seriously talking about Spain, England, Belgium guys we can’t even beat Hungary right now... With Skibbe as our coach and the way we have been playing we wouldn’t stand a chance of any pot 1 team at the euro campaign..please tell me boys when was the last time we beat a good team?

We haven't beaten a good team in over 4 years... let that just sink in for a second for all of us... if we don't make the euro via the nations league we will be missing our 3rd consecutive tournament...
georgelaz Posted September 22, 2018 Posted September 22, 2018 the netherlands win was quite good. (friendly but still) nearly beat belgium in the 1-1
Ellada2004 Posted October 25, 2018 Posted October 25, 2018 Greece still remain in 42nd spot tied with Australia.
Dutch Eagle Posted December 7, 2018 Posted December 7, 2018 At the release of November 29th Greece dropped one spot to #43.
kbxk508 Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Our problem, we can compete with elite nations but we lose to Pot 4 and 5 teams. That’s a psychology issue. We need to hire a shrink. 1
Dutch Eagle Posted December 21, 2018 Posted December 21, 2018 Stayed at #43 at the release of December 20th.
ausgreek Posted December 22, 2018 Posted December 22, 2018 Tunisia 26, Iran 29, Serbia 29 also, Morocco 40 KANGAROOS 41 Greece 43..we gotta start taking this seriously from now on going forward I'd say.

Wow man this is so upsetting.. I agree they need to get their s%$#! together and fix this ASAP and it better start with the qualifications of the Euro and no more dropping games to garbage teams... 3

I can accept Serbia being up there at 29, but Tunisia at 26 lol we all saw how pathetic they were at the World Cup. Greece need to start winning matches and get back into the top 20 were we are accustomed too.
Ellada2004 Posted February 10, 2019 Posted February 10, 2019 Greece drop to spots to 45th in the FIFA rankings due to results from the AFC Asia Cup.
J1078 Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 That sucks man... F*** man we are at the lowest point as a team... Need this s%$#! to turn around ASAP
Ellada2004 Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Hopefully Greece can get wins vs Lichenstein and then especially at Bosnia and that would really help them start to climb up the rankings.
Alphonse Posted February 11, 2019 Posted February 11, 2019 Need to start winning. Simple as that, look at the teams we have lost to the last 4 years... ridiculous stuff
J1078 Posted April 4, 2019 Posted April 4, 2019 Greece move up two spots to 43 after the last 2 results.. 2
Ellada2004 Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 Hopefully Greece win there next 2 euro qualifiers and keep climbing the rankings. Tunisia at 28 is absolutely ridiculous and Romania at 25 they should be below us. 1
Dean97 Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 I feel like we will back where we belong and that’s the top 20. If our players can work hard play with passion then we can win games. Masouras and Kolovos seem like they are up for it against strong teams. Fortounis seems to be back to his best and Donis speed will be crucial for us. Add Mitroglou scoring goals, Zeca beast like hustle and our usual strong defence we can go far. 3
georgelaz Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 (edited) I like Masouras but I'm not sold on Kolovos. I think he just got lucky on that goal. No one marked him because he's not usually much of a threat. There's a reason why Masouaras is now a starter at Oly right away where as Kolovos could never crack the line up over several years as a starter. I'd rather Donis on the wing with Masouras and Mitroglou striker or Koulouris. Edited April 5, 2019 by georgelaz 1

He deserves another call up as Mantalos and Pelkas have had so many chances and wouldn’t have scored like that.
J1078 Posted April 5, 2019 Posted April 5, 2019 If you remember Kolovos had another great chance but the Bosnian keeper stuck his foot out and made a good save. I'm not saying he deserves to start but he does deserve some more looks. 1

Brklyngrk Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 The header he hit was a great shot, with power and directed it in. Anyway, not saying he's the answer but I am saying that he should be in the coach's radar. 1
Alphonse Posted April 6, 2019 Posted April 6, 2019 Can’t fault a guy for making and taking chances, he was very good on the ball and did more in one game then Bakasetas did in 20 so he earned his spot. Baka is the one that we shouldn’t be wasting a spot on
Dutch Eagle Posted June 14, 2019 Posted June 14, 2019 An expected fall of the Ethniki on the FIFA ranking that was released today: from #43 to #52.
