We are close to December now and the usual Thrylo-rumors will start flying soon.... Larsson, Ibrahimovic, Nesta, Trapatoni, Ranieri to replace Bajevic, Saviola to replace Giovanni Giovanni gia panta sto Limani, Buffon maybe to replace Adonaki-Melos? etc etc.... :P Then you will end up getting George Weah at his age of peak!!! :P He is only 50!!! :P
REDmagic
With the amount of chances we create per game any quality striker would score every game...Lets hope they do spend the money for someone who will score even with 1 chance..I say lets buy Mohamed Zidane :P :P

We are close to December now and the usual Thrylo-rumors will start flying soon.... it is just unusual that your rumours started first. but i dont think you will manage to get the whole national team of argentina together. :P most probably livathinos' flight bakc will make some stops in albania, croatia, serbia and cyprus. you dont think that zates will let all the talents of these countries aside. :P
evalagoal
Ok you all are going to kill me for this :D but people Olympiacos does not need another BIG TIME NAME PLAYER. In my opinion, they need to scout the next big Greek Player. It seems that AEK is the one that's creating the young players and are making it to the National Team or are playing abroad. They need to invest in their youth system and try a young guy.... What do you all think? NOw don't get me wrong I would LOVE to see Zidane hit a pass to Rivaldo in the CL Final to beat Man U.

slick13
his full name is mohamed zidan not zidane and he is not called zidane btw he is a striker(forward and sometime ago he stated that he would realy much like to go to pao u can get him for about 2mil euro
Dragonfly
Mohammed Zidan is a very good player. I have seen some video-clips of him circulating in the internet, but he doesn't seem to be the typical striker that we're supposed to be looking for.... I say "supposed" because I think we need to give Yiannakis some time to produce the goods. For God's sake, he's only been playing with us for 1 month!! Zidan looks like an all-around player, an Alexandris-style player.... he will come out of the box, take possession of the ball and then attempt to scor from long-range or try to break-through the defenders and fire from close-range. We're supposed to be looking for somebody like Juskowiak , who will stay in the box and win all the headers or be in the position to receive Ribo's crosses and passes... But I still believe our team will only progress as the weeks are passing by... On the other side, some other insignificant green club based in Athens, they already realised that their "big" summer signings are not even worth playing for "Fostiras" in the 3rd division, therefore new signings are essential if they don't wanna finish 4th on the table.... below Olympiakos, AEK and Aigaleo...

GS1905
Mohammad Zidan has a future with a bright spark. He is only 23 and he was targeted by several clubs including Juventus, Bologna, Besiktas, Auxerre during the last transfer period. I think he'll be a better-off signing compared to Okkalaki... slick13
he was indeed very close to signing with besiktas! but when the danish club director and the players manager went to turkey it all fell down at the end
NYC_Olympiakos
I think talking about this topic is a bit too early but since it has been brought up i mean acquire Zidan sounds like a good idea to me since he is 23 years old and has a tremedous upside we also need another striker i mean Olympiakos carries only 2 strikers Giovanni and Okkas so another one is needed with out a doubt and plus he is very young and will develop
GS1905
acquiring Zidan will be useful to Olympiakos but having two forwards in the same character can create a problem for the team... Zidan is 23, Castillo is 21... They play with their technical skills and hardly use their physical ones... They are great dribblers but terrible headers... And they can be a hindrance to team spirit sometimes... Especially Zidan's teamwork capacity is very very low... but it will be a nice signing if you can get him! Evergreen
Charisteas has a 4-5M euro price tag. I don't think any Greek club can affored that money, and let's not forget he will want at least 1m A YEAR. There are many more clubs in Europe, even your average premiership club who can offer that sort of money.

Vasili0s
Aggele would be an AWESOME pick up, but for his own sake I hope he stays at weder, the kid is really young, and a move back to Greece even to OSFP wouldnt be in his best interests at this point. And as Evergreen touched upon, the price tag is going to be a hefty one.
pao123
you just need an out and out striker...i doubt itll be charisteas though...his price tag is really high...

edithp
Hi everybody, Like I said on another post, Panathinaikos is not a well known club in Spain or France. Who's the star on Panathinaikos, Femerling? The people here only knows Panthinaikos as a good basketball team, not football. In Europe, Olympiakos have the respect of Europe because they have a golden ball player, Rivaldo.
