drakos13
Kolka is gone get over it.. Are you living in the past!!! And he wasnt greek either Mate!! we know. but this topic is about the past...... "The worst players to wear the green legend top" we just thinks its impossible for you to mention kolkka , and say micaelsen is one of them (michaelsen was great player)
FZ13
lets not forget Eric Lincar!!!!! Eric Lincar was actually an OK player.. Never got to play more than 2 consecutive games though....Worst player EVER to be in the starting 11 for a a whole season: Zutautas(no contest) As for Kolkka, for every match he played well (and he could play great) there were 5 where he was completely useless.. FZ13
would galetto count? i didnt ever see him play....but not till his last season he got in a bit.. Galetto was a great player drako... Kinda slow but delightful skill.Never got used much How abou the Mongol Warrior Jafar Irismetov?? Actually played for Spartak Moscow after us and even scored a couple in the CL!! MadBoy13
Flipsen was a good player..... how about Singurdson? Kolka was an awsome player!!
m_kafes
Carvalho or Malekos have to be the worst. I could easily squeeze Demba in there.
Irlandos
There was an Argentinian, who passed as a Greek, named Argyropoulos (or something close to that) who in his first game (1980?) gave away two goals to Juventus by constantly fouling everyone who came near him.
Kolokotronis
Someone mentioned Andreouchi earlier, and how he showed his balls to thyra 13 after scoring his first goal. I remember one of the papers stating something to the effect of "evale ENA goal kai mas ediexe ta a*****a tou, fantasteite ti ehei na mas kanei/deixei an valei kai DEUTERO" :P :P :P :P Does anybody remember Hermes Kouropoulos in the early 80's???? Galetto I don't agree with. Very good skill, but maybe a bit too slow. Kiassos was also very good at OFI before coming to Leoforo. Don't know what happened to him. BTW, I don't think he was much shorter than Apostolakis. How about Delikaris and Mitropoulos as "greens?"
trifilli
kolka was involved with almost ever thing...he won the penalty in barcelona... michaelsen was a good player ... Jonas Kolka was very fast on the wings and a good dribbler.I will always remember him fondly for the penalty he won at Leoforos vs Barca, which Aggelos scored in front of my eyes at gate 13...1-0 The following year, with a similar run from the left side, he crossed a perfect ball for Manolis, in yet another historic result for PAO, the 0-1 at Porto! Both of these games are what PAO fans live for, and hope to return to former glory. Jan Michaelsen scored a fabulous volley vs Fener making the score 3-1 Both of these men had great character and team spirit, as well as skills Their replacements were inferior  Our wish as PAO fans is to compare the new transfers to them. If Charalambidis achieves what Kolka did, I will be his biggest fan  I hope we will never call him bintes: bathroom furniture, used for ...cleaning :D PEACE
Irlandos
How about ...Mitropoulos as "greens?"    Victor Mitropoulos the right back (late 1960's) or Tasos Mitropoulos (early 1990's)?The first one cost PAO quite a bit of money and three players one of which - Giannakopoulos - was a much better player than Mitropoulos. He never became the substitute for Kamaras that PAO hoped for but did well in his executive role later on in life. As for Tasos Mitropoulos, the man was washed up ages before he retired.

Evergreen
Everyone failed to mentions certain Josef Fitos and two Aussies, Jason Polak and Andy Vlachos.
Panos13
I remember Andy Vlachos well. He arrived same time as Fyssas and hardly ever played. He wasn't very good. As for Ossies, Chris Kalaitzis was probably their best export to Greece.
Evergreen
So was Lou Christodou from Hellas Adelaide. Johnny Anastasiadis was good for PAOK too and Jimmy Patikas was decent for AEK. Here are their records in the Greek League: Lou Christodoulou (Panathinaikos) 179/21 (9 seasons) Chris Kalatzis (Panathinaikos) 125/11 (5 seasons) Chris Kalatzis (Olympiakos) 81/7 (5 seasons) Jimmy Patikas (AEK) 142/27 (8 seasons) Jimmy Patikas (Athinaikos) 45/3 (3 seasons) Johnny Anastasiadis (PAOK) 203/27 (9 seasons)
