  • Blackhawk changed the title to SL1-PO-R10: Aris - PAOK (19.05.24 - 20:00 EEST)

Weird, would have thought our win record would have been worse, considering how terribly we usually play against them. I am...so pumped for this match haha

This is without a doubt their biggest match of the century. This is their actual final, not the one against PAO. We will need to go in there with knives between our teeth and do a job. The players need to understand that winning will be rewarded with Champions League football. It is as simple as that.

Aris had four yellows in today's match. I don't suppose any of those guys are suspended for this match?

Ferrari, Rose, Suleymanov, Manu Garcia

I was thinking about this today. For the fans and management, yes. But the rental players, for the non Greeks or players who aren’t familiar too much with the rivalry, I guarantee you they’d rather be cup champions. It’s another thing to put on their resume for when they leave

Sorry bud, I don't know but I like that you're thoughtful enough to not want to publish it online haha

Murg is currently day-by-day; hopefully it's just a sprain but will still stink if he's not available.

Do you know the adress of our fanclub in (the suburbs of) Athens? PM me if this location is to be kept secret.

The last I heard, the fan club in Athens was closed down by the government as there were too many incidents involving rival fans. The address is near Omonia and can be found on their Facebook page here: https://www.facebook.com/panellinios1974/

Unfortunately I lost contact with the guys there a long time ago. If you have Facebook then send them a message and ask if they will all be watching it together somewhere. Their page is active. Make sure to state that you are visiting from the Netherlands. Perhaps even say that you would like to buy a shirt.

Hopefully our players will give everything they got. They need to play a physical game, so Aris players will think twice about missing playing in the cup final.

I expect Aris to play their typical game. They will sit back and park a bus on defense and rely on quick counter attacks. That how they managed to do damage to us in recent games. We will need to stop trying to dribble around their defense and just try some long range shots to break their wall. It will be a tough game, and I hope we will have more luck this time. If we manage to score the first goal, I think the game will be over.

Frustratingly I will be on the train back to London from Paris while the game is on. I will have to watch via Livescore. This will probably be better for my health than watching the actual game anyway.

if we finish on equal points with AEK does it get determined on W/L ratio or goal difference?

H2H record between the 2 teams, which is level. But AEK has a better goal difference than us in our H2H games so they own the tie-breaker. AEK will win the title if we finish level on points.

AEK has a better goal difference by one goal. Had we beaten them 4:2 (good chance by Koulierakis in injury time), the tie breaker would be in our favor.

Due to a satellite issue, Mysat (who has SportsPlus) unlocked their online streaming to not require a login. The issue has been resolved but they seem to still be streaming all their channels without requiring a login, at least that is the case here in Australia.

https://www.mysatgo.com/play/60514/sport-plus

So hopefully that stays that way until after the game and you can watch it on a reliable stream!
