Great news to all U.S. viewers! FS1 will be televising Greece-England match next week on Thursday. Can't wait!

Only because we're playing England, but we'll of course take it

8 players have pulled out of the England squad with various injuries. Amongst them are: Alexander-Arnold, Saka, Foden and Declan Rice. The 4 mentioned there are regular starters. So England won't be at full strength come game-time. They still obviously have quality all over the pitch, but it should make getting a result a touch easier.

Remember a draw is enough to guarantee us top spot, with one game to spare.

This will be the biggest challenge, we shocked them in Wembley and they wont make the same mistake twice they will be ready. How is first place determined if England beat us by 1 goal and we both win our last games? What's the tie breaker for the Nations League?

Article 15 Equality of points – league phase

15.01

If two or more teams in the same group are equal on points on completion of the league phase, the following criteria are applied, in the order given, to determine their rankings:

  1. higher number of points obtained in the group matches played among the teams in question;

  2. superior goal difference from the group matches played among the teams in question;

  3. higher number of goals scored in the group matches played among the teams in question;

  4. if, after having applied criteria a) to c), teams still have an equal ranking, criteria a) to c) are reapplied exclusively to the matches between the remaining teams to determine their final rankings. If this procedure does not lead to a decision, criteria e) to k) apply in the order given to the two or more teams still equal;

  5. superior goal difference in all group matches;

  6. higher number of goals scored in all group matches;

  7. higher number of away goals scored in all group matches;

  8. higher number of wins in all group matches;

  9. higher number of away wins in all group matches;

  10. lower disciplinary points total based only on yellow and red cards received by players and team officials in all group matches (red card = 3 points, yellow card = 1 point, expulsion for two yellow cards in one match = 3 points);

  11. higher position in the 2024/25 UEFA Nations League Access List [this would be England].

Their projected lineup still looks strong even with some omissions.  And those given a chance could give a different look.  Very difficult for sure we just can't in the end lose we must draw at minimum and hopefully the full 3 points.  PAME

The worst case scenario for Greece is to lose by 2 goals and fall to second place. Best case scenario is to avoid losing. A 1 goal defeat will still keep Greece in first place, but tied with England with 12 points meaning Greece must beat Finland  (where they never won on their home soil before) to win the group.

In not sure if that's right about Harry Kane, as he was interviewed and expressly criticised England players from pulling out of the match injured (when they're just feigning it).

So it'd be very hypocritical of him to then do the same.
