Brklyngrk
Unfortunately, Fountas would not have played. If Tzolis was called up and doesn't play, then what is the point?
Jimmyp
Like I said. It’s fountas. We’re using excuses for injuries. It’s fountas. There are about 500 000 players better than him in the world. Lol

Ellada2004
Kotsiras picked up an injury in training and will be unavailable for the Kosovo game. Rota should get the start at RB as he had a very good game vs N. Ireland.

Dutch Eagle
Pavlidis got injured last Sunday (ankle) and will be out for 4 to 5 weeks. He will miss the two upcoming NL matches with the Ethniki.
Alphonse
Of course, he was in hot form, standard to be injured for the Ethniki games but at least this time we have secured first place

Dutch Eagle
Paschalakis? Why did he receive a call-up as he is not match-fit being a free agent?!?! Tzavellas is out for sure. Hurt his hand after hitting a window. Won’t play 4-6 weeks. Tzolis is also out. Is not playing at this moment for FC Twente. Not even on the bench and thus not available for the Ethniki according to Dutch media.

paokarag4
18 year old PAOK center back Kostas Koulierakis called up to replace Tzavellas for the 2 Nations League matches. Bit of a surprise call-up but considering the games have no bearing on where we finish, it's a good opportunity for the kid to get a taste of international football. https://www.sport24.gr/football/ethniki-elladas-koylierakis-anti-tzavella-stin-apostoli-gia-ta-mats-toy-nations-league.9763794.html
PaokCT
Paschalakis getting a call up is wild. Imagine not having a job, just chillin and working out, some training. Then all of a sudden you're picked as one of the top 3 players at your position in a whole damn country lol

As for Tzavellas this guy has major anger issues. He did put in some good performances with the NT in the World Cup qualifiers I have to say but I think its finally time to move on from him. Brklyngrk
Paschalakis is def an odd choice but it's not like we have another goal keeper who has been a superstar that he is replacing...Tzavellas, surprisingly, has put in a few good shifts with the NT the last 2 years but his time has come.

HellasLEAF
Any of the current or coming players have a chance at really breaking out and being a star player? There is lots of talent, and some of real quality on top clubs, but do we have a star in the making is what I'm wondering. I'm surprised all these years Greece hasn't produced anyone of that calibre.
