That's right no way we should be behind the likes of Scotland and Bulgaria but we should have had a win vs Estonia and draw vs Belgium to keep us higher.

Remember - they don't put us anywhere, we put ourselves.  It's a mathematical formula weighted on a combination of opposition/matches from the last 4 years/type of matches. There is no subjectivity involved.

We have nobody to blame but ourselves.. guys lets not forget we lost to the FI twice plus Finland, Hungary, Luxembourg in a friendly Bolivia and tied Estonia... do you really think we deserve to be higher with all those losses? Why should we be higher who have we beaten that's a top team? We've tied Bosnia twice and tied Belgium we  also beat a s%$#! Netherlands team.. we are exactly were we belong and only have ourselves to blame..

Anyone have any idea where we will be ranked after the next edition of the FIFA rankings? Greece should leap over some of the teams in front of us like Romania, Congo, Ecuador, Paraguay, Bulgaria, Montengro, Bosnia given there results.

My guess would be Greece would be in the top 40.

i gave up on these rankings long a go. My bet USA will be above us, even though they didn't qualify for the WC they were able to  beat Guam and Guatemala in a friendly.

Our two wins against Cyprus and Gibraltar only got us about 30 points.  We may fall some more given teams like Australia also won both their games.

Hopefully we move up to 40th, then if we get through to the World Cup will get a big jump.

We will most likely fall a bit more. Bosnia will remain ahead of us

we ain't moving much but if we get past our playoff opponent it means we'll get a major boost. we're the lowest seeded team so whoever comes in our way means it will give us many points. 

and hopefully a qualification :D

Greece we're seeded in both playoffs for World Cup 2010 and 2014. Start the first leg at home and finished the second leg away.

Thank you, I found out the draw will take place in Zurich, Switzerland at 14:00
So, in my local time, it will start at 07:00.

I tried to "calculate" the possible rankings of the teamas 15 spots ahead of us and 15 spots behind us. I think our ranking will probably go up by 1-2 spots.

if we end up beating the seeded team we play who ever it is to get in to the world cup then we should make a pretty big jump.
