NYC_Olympiakos
Are you serious? You have him on your Avatar! What are your expectations? Scissor kicks and lobs from the half way line or slalom runs like Maradona? I watched the Premier League highlights show last night and the 2 finishes from Stelio against Everton were world class! He showed better composure than Shearer or Van Nistelrooy! Also the match against Arsenal a few weeks ago in that first half he was world class. His service to his forwards was perfect and his support play and ablity to get into position and finish like he did for his goal shows that he is better than most strikers when it comes to scoring. It’s a pity the Ethniki's proper forwards like Haristeas or Papadopoulos can’t finish like Stelio can. Long may he reign! can somebody find links of stelios 2 goals !!!! Korisos
2nd goal if you're wondering about the first i'll describe it: he sprinted down the middle and took a pass in full speed from the black dude, Gardner i think it was and ran into the box and chipped it over the sprawled everton keeper. both goals are world class :nw:

Batigol
That 2nd goal was awesome. He made those defenders look like a bunch of pylons. A well placed strike too. Well done Stelio!

Korisos
too bad he's playing like this at the age of 31 and not 21 otherwise he wouldn't be playing for Bolton but some bigger team. just another sign how Greek football is behind by 10 or 15 years from the powerhouse coutries. dark_horse
Stelios would have scored a 2nd one if the linesmen didn't call offside.
loup
Greece winger Giannakopoulos was left with blood pouring from a head wound in the 27th minute after an aerial collision with Dunne. Both players resumed their roles after brief treatment. :nono: Nolan took advantage of some slack marking in the 40th minute when Giannakopoulos played in a free-kick with a cool finish for his eighth goal of the season. :nw: :gr: :gr: :gr:

Grigoris
Stelios was named man of the match against Wigan today. Watched the replay on FSC and he played a great game. Scrappy goal, but great crosses and movement off the ball. Definitely one of the top greek players currently, if not the top.
Batigol
I'm really glad for the guy. He's obviously adjusted well to the type of game they play in the EPL. I just hope he can keep it up for the next few years.
