The pitch in Helsinki was awful yesterday. Glad we played there in September:

On top of that Aberdeen-fans threw snowballs and the match was temporarily suspended:

Match of the gavroi in Volos interrupted. Hooligans of the awayteam entered the pitch in stoppage time. Police used teargas. Score was 2-2. They needed a penalty and an own goal.

Match resumed but players only passed the ball to eachother. 2-2 FT.

Gavroi probably will face a punishment after the behavior of their supporters for the second time this season.

Angry official response from Marinakis incoming detailing the corruption in the Greek league. ?

So many years of them being played 80/20 by referees has warped their minds.  If this game was played 10 years ago the final score would have been 1-4 to Olympiacos.

Haha saw some responses to a thread on twitter claiming it was the fault of the refs for STEALING THE GAME from them. Amazing stuff.

Atromitos just scored the 2-1 in the 49th minute vs PAO. Would be a huge result for us. Hopefully I didn't jinx it.

-edit- and a gorgeous chipped goal in the 64th minute, hoo boy this is a good day

AEX gave away a 0-2 lead (after 14 minutes) to draw 2-2 against Panaitolikos.

We are the new League leaders!

Standings:

PAOK 32

Vazelos 31

AEX 31

Gavro 31 (leading 0-1 in Serres with 13 minutes to go)

Imagine losing to the worst team in the league. AEK definitely destined for greatness this season.

That Olympiakos goal was a penalty, of course. About four minutes to go

What a "maimou" penalty Olympiakos got in Serres. Those were quite common in the pre-VAR days. All those threats against the refs in recent weeks pay off for Olympiakos.

AEX lost 2 points against Panserraikos despite Pablo's Boys were down to 10 men since 64'.

They copped the equalizer in 90+4'.

Must not slip ourselves over the banana called Kifisia.

Just another example of a Greek club knee-jerk reacting to a couple of results. Awful management from PAO. On the other hand it bodes well for us that 2 of our competitors are having an unstable few weeks and changing managers heading into the new year.

Imagine the headspace you need to be in to hire a Turk and call him Emperor on your socials as a Greek team.

I could never see us doing that.

I don't care enough about the other subforums here to post this in, so you guys get the beauty of my thoughts instead:

Watching the Arsenal - West Ham game, and Mavropanos just scored what I think is his first premier league goal vs his former club. I'd cheer but I had money on Arsenal winning ?

O Aris lost 3-2 against Asteras despite being 0-2 up after 14 minutes.

And the Gavroi lost 1-0 in Lamia.

We must beat OFI in order not to be the third team to drop points.

Aris after going up 2:0 early thought they won and were saving themselves up for their season's final on Sunday.

For the cup: AEK-ARIS is trending towards a 0-0 and the PAO-OLY game is about to start. Both of these are the first leg of their respective ties, so progression will be decided on the 17th. With that said, who would we rather see win?

I'd love to see AEK lose here, but there might be some value in having them tired for the semifinal. Obviously we have a big advantage in progression.

Olympiakos also clearly the weaker side in the other match-up, but same logic applies...

Olympiakos is leading at halftime 1:0. I want to face Olympiakos in the semifinal over Panathinaikos.

Watched the 2nd half of AEK-Aris and Aris could have easily won. AEK did a major rotation though. It will be decided in Thessaloniki. I want Aris to qualify and if they do, I see them reaching the final.
