Dutch Eagle Posted October 9, 2024 Posted October 9, 2024 Panathinaïkos player and Greek international George Baldock was found dead in his pool today. The cause of dead is currently unknown.
Blackhawk Posted October 20, 2024 Author Posted October 20, 2024 Olympiakos stumbled at home against Levadeiakos with a 2:2 tie.
pash Posted October 21, 2024 Posted October 21, 2024 This season's league is going to be as close as last season's, huh
pash Posted October 23, 2024 Posted October 23, 2024 Watched the back half of Young Boys vs Inter match. Young Boys kind of unlucky to lose. They're a lot better than I figured they would be. Can't wait until we get drawn against them in a year or two and they smash us.
Blackhawk Posted October 26, 2024 Author Posted October 26, 2024 AEK lost to Panserrraikos 1:0 even though they played for 60 minutes with extra player.
Blackhawk Posted October 27, 2024 Author Posted October 27, 2024 Aris tied 1:1 with PAO. What axcellent set of results this MD.
PaokCT Posted October 28, 2024 Posted October 28, 2024 First time in 8 years that all of PAOK, AEK, PAO, OLY failed to win
paokarag4 Posted December 8, 2024 Posted December 8, 2024 Aris apparently about to sack Mantzios (again). John Van't Schip, former Ethniki manager is being lined up to replace him. https://www.sport24.gr/football/aris-teleionei-o-mantzios-pro-ton-pylon-o-fan-sip.10425079.html 1
pash Posted December 16, 2024 Posted December 16, 2024 Athens Kallithea takes points off Olympiakos. Great news for us. Rock on.
Blackhawk Posted December 16, 2024 Author Posted December 16, 2024 Kallithea managed to cut points from Olympiakos with 1:1 tie scoring the tying goal in the 92nd minute. The standings are: 1. Olympiaskos 31 2. PAOK 30 3. AEK 30 4. Panathinaikos 29 5. Aris 27
Bananas Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 It's looking to be similar to last season where multiple teams are in contention. Much more interesting than those seasons where Olympiacos would be +10 points in front half way through the season. 2
pash Posted December 17, 2024 Posted December 17, 2024 Damn right bud, this is going to come down to the wire again and I'm here for it.
pash Posted December 18, 2024 Posted December 18, 2024 Just noticed Kyriakos Papadopoulos left Levadiakos on 11/11, after signing for them back in July. Wonder what happened there. Perhaps he's giving us an opportunity to replace Lovren 😉
pash Posted December 22, 2024 Posted December 22, 2024 The AEK-Levadiakos game ended 1-1, noiiiceeeee
pash Posted December 23, 2024 Posted December 23, 2024 Asteras beat Aris 2-1 today. The mighty Aris remains in 5th place. Spitting distance from Panaitolikos. OFI also beat NFC Volos. The mid-table (i.e., conference league qualifiers) group is actually kind of interesting this year: Aris - 27 Panaitolikos - 23 OFI - 20 Atromitos - 19 Asteras - 19 (special mention - technically out of that quartet based on H2H) Overall, I like that the super league might be represented by five teams next summer - assuming, of course, that all of the teams qualify. Just as likely that only PAOK and Olympiakos will actually make it through.
pash Posted January 5 Posted January 5 Aris about to fall to OFI, 0-2. Nice to see them struggle. Hopefully Panaitolikos challenges for that last Conference League spot. AEK winning 0-3 vs Volos, with like 40 minutes to go. We'll need to win today to maintain second place.
Blackhawk Posted January 6 Author Posted January 6 Looks like we are back in the good old days when Olympiakos controlled everything. Today they needed a penalty and a red card in order to defeat Panaitolikos.

And yesterday they needed the Swedish Stevie Wonder as the ref and the Croatian Ray Charles as the VAR: https://inpaok.com/849838/tyflothikan-diaititis-kai-var-sto-karaiskakis/
PaokCT Posted January 12 Posted January 12 *ducks* better Olympiakos winning the title than AEK or PAO. They have a great, young Greek core. They built their team the right way.
