Dutch Eagle
Only in Greece: If you lose on forfeit it is 3-0. And you will be promoted on GD. You could show up and lose 4-0 and miss the promotion on GD. Therefore you decide not to show up. True sportmanship. https://www.gazzetta.gr/football/g-ethniki/2228600/den-katebainei-sto-teleytaio-mats-o-asteras-baris-alla-anebainei-stin-g

pash
Angelidis? Or was that the guy who pretended to buy Iraklis? Turns out Greeks from the diaspora are just as scummy as the Greeks in Greece. Who woulda thought!
Blackhawk
The Greek-Australian who bought Xanthi was Bill Pappas who paid 15 mill to buy the team. However he got into financial problems in Australia and abandoned the team, which in turn turned in the license and is starting fresh from the local amateur competitions. I have money problems, he has criminal problems
pash
Perhaps whether or not something becomes criminal is tied to how much wealth you have ? Much easier to prosecute the poor, after all!

Blackhawk
Always have been, but AEK fans (or any other team hardcore fans) are no angels. This was a staged meeting of the ultras from Dinamo Zagreb with the help of their affiliated team Panathinaikos against the AEK ultras. Let's not forget when we played Olympique Marseille, AEK ultras travelled to France in order to attack PAOK fans attending the game. Now it is reported that Marseille ultras are coming to Athens for tomorrows game and I am sure they will hook up with AEK ultras to cause trouble. The sad thing is the Greek police was aware of this ahead of time and did no do anything about it. I think it's good that there is no fan exchange for our games with Hajduk. kolokotronis99tripoli
Crazy upset win Panathinaikos outlasts Marseille in PKs to move on! AEK also managed to win their first leg 1-0. Rack them coefficients up boys!

kolokotronis99tripoli
Somehow AEK clawed back with 2 extra time goals to advance to the playoff round of Champions League Qualifying. We have 2 teams with a chance to make the group stage in Panathinaikos and AEK. Olympiacos also are a step away from the Europa League Group Stage as are we in the Conference League. Aris almost joined us with a shocking upset of Dynamo Kiev but gave up a late goal to crash out: overall one of the best European starts for Greek teams in a long while. It pains me to root for some of these teams but after the coefficient work we put in 2 years ago, we deserve something in return from them. pash
On the plus side - the TV earnings will be split by those teams if they make it in, so that trims of the advantage. Just got to focus on ourselves now, and hope the meager funds we may pocket help. Let the foustanellas envelop the kilts, in other words.
Dutch Eagle
Pablo Garcia returns to Toumba as Panserraikos will play MD 3 in our stadium. The works in their own stadium are not finished when they meet Panetolikos.

Blackhawk
I watched the second half and Pablo got lucky. The score could easily have been 5:1 for AEK. They had 83% possession and missed a penalty. On top of that the ref was 80:20 in favor of AEK. I'll take the tie though. Always good when the big one from Athens drop points.
kolokotronis99tripoli
Welp the dream of a Greek team in the champions league will have to wait for another year lol. AEK and Panathinaikos both lost so at least well likely have 3 Europa league group stage teams and PAOK in the Confernce league group stage
pash
Still will be great for the coefficient. Those two teams are automatically in the group stages now right? So it's just us and the fish who need to not screw up. I am feeling frisky so I put money down on both winning. Made me kind of sick to do anything pro-them, but at least I can make some money off of 'em.
