Dutch Eagle
The roof of one of the stands in the Apostolos Nikolaidis-stadium collapsed due to too much/heavy snow on it.
pash
Haha didn't Panathinaikos reject a pretty big offer from us for this guy? I wonder what they paid for him. https://inpaok.com/717208/erixe-vomva-me-bouzouki-o-ofi/ Perhaps the stadium collapse was one bill too many. Blackhawk
I don't believe we ever tried to get Bouzoukis. His contract was expiring so OFI probably got him cheap. Looks like another Greek talent that did not develop into a real player.
pash
This could belong in more than one thread but I'll just put it here for now: https://inpaok.com/719546/protasi-gia-tesseris-ellines-vasikous-se-kathe-omada-tis-sl/ Not sure how this would even work?? Like, would coaches be barred from subbing those guys out after five minutes? I'm sure there would be plenty of ways to get around it, but honestly...we have a long history of buying bad foreign players just because we can. Athens4
It would force teams to develop Greek talent. If there were teams that chose to sub players out after 5 minutes then it would be huge risk if other players got injured. I support this move and would love to see more Greeks starting. This should be a global rule. It is a shame to see teams field a team of foreigners with barely any native players, let alone homegrown talent.
Dutch Eagle
Employment law of EU stand in the way. Only a gentlemens agreement between the clubs can enforce this change. And we now how Greek clubs cooperate. Not.
Dutch Eagle
Giannina docked 5 points in the General Ranking. They drop out of the top 6 for the European spots to #8.
Blackhawk
They will appeal the decision.
Athens4
All happening just so OARIS can make the playoffs. Next to be punished will be OFI.
Dutch Eagle
O Aris won the appeal at CAS and have their 6 points back. They are now at #4 with 8 points less compared with us.

Dutch Eagle
PAS won their appeal too. They move up to the championship play-offs. OFI drops to the relegation play-offs.
Blackhawk
Yet another proof that Greek Superleague is a joke. The PAS Giannina case is 5 years old only to be resurrected by the ambulance chaser Kougias.
pash
Not that this is news to anyone (we're one of the worst offenders), but... https://inpaok.com/724318/ouragos-i-sl-se-lepta-symmetochis-paikton-k21/
Dutch Eagle
These play-offs suck if you want to become champion as the POK and O Aris like to screw us. But if you are second and the others fight eachother to reach European football it is nice to see the slaughter. After losing last week and not playing this week we still managed to get closer to another year in Europe in 2022/2023. Pana drew at Giannina, AEK lost at home against O Aris. We only need 8 points to secure the third spot that will earn that ECL Q2!

pash
NFC Volos has been sold, according to Beos. Hopefully the new owners continue to invest and run the club well.
Soprano76
NFC Volos needs to fold. It’s a small city that already has two historical teams.
pash
The teams that need to fold are the two garbage teams that can't make it into the top division. Which allegedly was the point of this one. Volos is too small to support two competitive teams.
kolokotronis99tripoli
Hey boys I was wondering, why are only our Paok stuff and the national team threads the things that people comment on? Did there used to be more olympiacos, panathinaikos, and aek presence on this forum or was it always like this ?
pash
When greeksoccer.com shut down, the alt-right members (which were broadly Olympiakos supporters) started their own cesspit forum, where as far as I know they still circle jerk today 1
