Ziaka Posted March 27, 2007 Author Posted March 27, 2007 Friendly: Greece - Denmark 2-1 Report from EPO.gr:
loup Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Does Nini's participation in this game mean he can only play for Greece in the future?
Irlandos Posted March 28, 2007 Posted March 28, 2007 Someone check up on that. I thought the new rules of UEFA state that a person can switch allegiance between youth squads and the senior squad.
js1000 Posted March 29, 2007 Posted March 29, 2007 as far as i'm aware you can play at u21 level for 1 country and still represent a different country at senior level
evalagoal Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 What a shame.... I watched the U-21 game vs Azerbaijan and it was a DISGRACE. 1st of all we won the match 4-1 which was extremely positive for the team, but the turn-out to watch this game was a complete joke. The team was playing in Athens and it attracted ONLY 200 FANS.. What the hell? If we don't support our you th what are we going to be expecting in the future?? It was a disgrace to see that sort of a result from the Greek Public. But you know who's to blame for this? EPO (How many times have we said that?)
Ziaka Posted June 3, 2007 Author Posted June 3, 2007 Details about the match. Next game is against Croatia.
dark_horse Posted June 3, 2007 Posted June 3, 2007 Keep posting the good stuff everybody, Greece will someday become a competitive football nation! :gr: :gr: :gr: :gr: That 2-1 win over Denmark has got to be one of my favortive all-time youth match I've ever witnessed! :nw:
Ziaka Posted June 6, 2007 Author Posted June 6, 2007 3-2 loss to Croatia in our second game of the U21 Euro qualifying.
dark_horse Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Today the Elpidon is playing a friendly international match with Bulgaria.
dark_horse Posted August 21, 2007 Posted August 21, 2007 Not a good day for the Elpidon, lost at home 4-1. :(
paxiotis7 Posted August 22, 2007 Posted August 22, 2007 thats pethetic  did people like ninis or mitroglou play?
george21 Posted September 8, 2007 Posted September 8, 2007 It's a bit late posting this but no one has posted it yet. Our under-21's beat Azerbaijan 2-0 today, Christodoulopoulos and Aravidis scored for us.

loup Posted October 17, 2007 Posted October 17, 2007 The ten group winners and four best runners-up advance to the play-offs, where seven matches will decide which teams join Sweden in the eight-team finals. If teams are level on points, they are split by head to head record then overall record in the group.
