In other news, Savvidis has signed with Panionios (PAOK retains rights to 30% of his resale value), for two years. I believe they got him for free.

 

Varela is no longer training due to what seems to be a somewhat serious injury (out for at least a month?). I can't see us continuing to pursue him now.

Someone's gotta give, as blackhawk said. We'll see who. There are more transfer rumors of a second Romanian guy that we're after. Personally, I don't think we're as desperate in that position as others think. Klaus/Koulouris to start, and Pereyra/Mistakidis/Jairo all can theoretically play there. More than theoretically for Pereyra in fact, since Anastasiadis had played him as CF for like half of that season.

We def need another CB though. A good one.

Care to elaborate? Is this just to keep pressure on those-who-would-think-themselves-shoo-ins?

Tzavellas did not renew his contract, but he will, since he is a close buddy with the owners son. I expect a new 3-year deal. 

 

Tziolis's contract was automatically renewed for one more season until 2017.

 

Skondras is gone, and would not be surprise me if Glykos is gone as well. If not now than in the winter.

We are apperantly serious looking at the possibilities of signing the former Milan and Chelsea player Alexandre Pato!!!

He is currently playing at Corinthians.

Yeah he should come back to the A-League so his dad can tell anyone who'll listen to him how Greece is a worse standard than Western Sydney Wankers (the irony).
