Bananas Posted August 11, 2016 Posted August 11, 2016 In our quest for a CF we have a young Scandinavian in scope. No name revealed yet. And not crossing my mind. He is said to be experienced despite his age. And can be used as a winger. Could it be this guy ? 3
pash Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Iceland truly is a land of beauty. In other news, Panserraikos apparently is interested in taking Dimitriadis, Kakkos, and Tselepidis on loan. I believe Qose is already there?
Blackhawk Posted August 12, 2016 Posted August 12, 2016 Looks like we are trying to renegotiate Kace's contract and then loan him to another team.
pash Posted August 15, 2016 Posted August 15, 2016 Looks like Sabo is going to Jerusalem after all. Finally.
BostonThanatos Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 I like how the paper is reporting TO MEGALO BAM! Guston Rodriguez...lol. Ok, I understand that he was the leading scorer in the Uruguaian League last year....maybe he even has the potential to be the next Ibrahimovic.....but I wouldn't call a 24 year old kid who's never left his mothers village TO MEGALO BAM! 2
Bananas Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Boston you cynic you. The papers have to write something for the suckers!
pash Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 Savvidis in town, apparently to make a call on which striker we're going to move on. Seems Michel/Ivic have a list of three.
Tahma Posted August 16, 2016 Posted August 16, 2016 let's hope they're actually decent signings, we've been due for one for awhile.
pash Posted August 17, 2016 Posted August 17, 2016 Looks like we are trying to renegotiate Kace's contract and then loan him to another team. Still reading this, hopefully this happens soon.
Blackhawk Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Tziolis has been told that he is not in the team's plans, and that he should start looking for a new team. 1
pash Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 !!!!!!! -edit- I should add that I hope he finds a good club, but MAN this feels like a new leaf for us.
PAOKSYD Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 Woah great news!!!.we are.rising boys!!! Tzioli go to belgium you will rip up file. Thank you for your time at paok you have it your all for our great club and we appreciate that. 1
kozi Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 (edited) Having Canas partner Cimirot in the midfield is an improvement no doubt. However, getting rid of both Kace and Tziolis is a big mistake as it leaves us without cover in that position when injuries and cards arise. Would have thought keeping Kace was a viable option. I do not rate Xarisi, he tries hard but makes way too many mistakes. Edited August 19, 2016 by kozi 1
pash Posted August 19, 2016 Posted August 19, 2016 I honestly don't think it's that much of a problem. Cimirot and Canas play the same position, so when we're not planning on being super defensive we won't need to have them both on the field at the same time. Charisis can sub in as a DM when needed (and I DEFINITELY rate him), and it sounds like Ivic has been trying Korovesis out in that position as well (God help us).
paokarag4 Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 (edited) I would be keeping Kace as depth tbhabout a month ago we had far too many players in center mid and now we are starting to look a little thin if you ask me. Also given our poor track record with injuries I feel we are playing with fire.Keep Kace. have Cimirot/Canas as your starters, Xarisi next in line and then you have Kace for cover. Assuming we play some games with a no.10 as well (biserwar/pelka/mysta) then I think we should be okay with the 4 of them Edited August 20, 2016 by paokarag4 1
Bananas Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Gotta say I also think it's risky to let both Tziolis and Kace go. Out of the two, I'd keep Tziolis (yes Reaper, really!!) because I think Kace is done with PAOK emotionally. He's wanted out for a while now. Having said that maybe Tziolis was told he's not a first team starter and he wants to go ? Who knows. What I've never liked about PAOK is how we too often part with players on less than ideal terms. If you don't need Tziolis, tell him from the beginning of the pre-season, not now where the transfer window is closing. Call him what you will as a player, he's been a decent club man and to me that counts for something. Anyway, let's see how it all unfolds.
paokarag4 Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 I forgot to include Shakov in my center mid calculations. Although he hasn't been great so far, it's clear Ivic rates him and he will get minuets. So maybe being 5th choice is just to low for both Tzioli and Kace.

PAOKSYD Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Xarisis makes tzioli look like a wood chopper from kilkis mate!! 1
kozi Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 I'm happy to be proven wrong about Xarisi but I think this time next year he will not be with Paok.
PAOKSYD Posted August 20, 2016 Posted August 20, 2016 Time will tell. Lets come back and discuss at end of season as his progression is on alotnof peoples minds
Dutch Eagle Posted August 20, 2016 Author Posted August 20, 2016 Looks like Kace is going to Viktoria Plzen (Czech Republic).
Dutch Eagle Posted August 21, 2016 Author Posted August 21, 2016 Atromitos, AEK and APOEL are interested in hiring Tziolis.
pash Posted August 21, 2016 Posted August 21, 2016 APOEL interested in Chatziisaias, Apollon Limassol interested in Skondras Apparently every team in the Greek speaking world is linked to Tziolis. AEK, Panathinaikos, APOEL, Atromitos. I think half of them have issued denials already.
