As it is, we are the oldest team on avg in the Europa League. Meanwhile, look in the superleague. Olympiakos, AEK, and PAO are all getting younger and developing players. Who do we have? Shola?

Bet you Lucescu will jettison Shola this summer too.

I do think your links on the average age in the EL show that we were only third oldest, though 😉

If Meite is thrown in by Lucescu into games right now, I predict that he will end up on the injury list very quickly.

Tissoudali was linked to Zamalek of Egypt but he demanded too much money. He was left of the squad for tomorrow, which leads me to believe that he is still on the transfer list even though Lucescu just said that he has a minor injury.

I doubt Thomas will accept the Toronto offer. He found himself a girlfriend in Thessaloniki, who he managed to knock up. I doubt that his pregnant girlfriend would like to leave Thessaloniki at this time.

Murg has changed his mind again, and is now traveling to Saudi Arabia to finilize the loan deal with Donis. Apparently Murg's wife is pregnant with their 4th child, so I can understand why he was hesitant to move to Saudi Arabia.

We've given away our K19 winger Politakis to Torino, but maintain a 50% resale rate on him. I thought Italy specifically got rid of co-ownership?

https://inpaok.com/852267/apo-ton-paok-stin-torino-o-politakis/

He played 15 games this season for the U19, scoring 4 and getting 4 assists.

i think it depends. i think if we just get 50% of the cash then it's ok. i believe what they got rid of is if someone wants to buy him from torino they also have to buy him from us.

Tissoudali now training separately according to the internet. No further moves for LB/CF. I guess this means we can expect to see a lot more of Samatta not scoring.

Tissoudali and Bakayoko will train by themselves. If Murg didn't change his mind he would in together with them.

I don't understand articles like this. Did we pay something to get him? You'd think even if we did, saving on his salary would be worth it.

Btw, the UAE's window is open for 10 more days. Perhaps their Al-Ain can do us a favor and pick up Tissoudali.

-edit- Egypt's still open for another week too. Who knows, maybe Zamalek can convince Tissoudali too.

Looks like Brighton won the race for Tzimas. This is enough money to fund a whole rebuild next summer.

And to those who will complain that we gave him away for nothing or whatever: he was never going to play for us. Stop deluding yourself.

This one's kind of interesting. I thought that clause was from last year (so, this year was the year it was in effect)? If so, I guess we could "force" him to play for us. But I do think that would be scummy beyond belief.

I still don't think we'll be able to keep him next season. Team really needs to be ready for that possibility.

-edit- adding this as an edit because I don't want to flood this thread. I thought this was very funny. It might be the first time in history that PAOK didn't buy people just for the sake of buying them.

"Την περασμένη Πέμπτη στο Σαν Σεμπαστιάν πάρθηκε η απόφαση να μη γίνει καμιά κίνηση, γιατί το καλοκαίρι θα υπάρχουν καλύτερες επιλογές και κρίθηκε πως είναι καλύτερο να μη δεσμευτεί από τώρα ο ΠΑΟΚ με έναν παίκτη που δεν “τρελαίνει” κανέναν…"

We probably will sell Konstantelias, so we could be looking at 40 million euros in our war chest for next season. Let all of the free agents walk, people!

Let's not forget that not all the money will go to transfers. In March we are starting to built our new training facilities in Thermi. I am pretty sure some of the money will go to that project.

PAOK needs to hire a Technical Director that knows about the game of football to make the transfers. We can't have George Savvidis or Razvan Lucescu to be choosing the players to buy.

Thermi will cost a few million, and considering the relatively low outlay this past summer, you can likely assume what remains from Koulierakis can cover that. There really isn't an excuse to not spend serious money next year. If Konstantelias is sold as well...the numbers boggle the mind.

Then we will get left behind in the dust in the super league consistently competing with Aris for the last European spot.

Savvidis has turned PAOK into a money making machine.

Hes beem profiting from PAOK since year 4 of his reign...
