pash Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 That's it exactly. Most of all, I just want some damn stability. If he can get the players to gel and play to their potential - at least at the level they were at during these playoffs - we'll be much more competitive. He noted during his last press conference that his goal is to keep the turnover to a minimum. Let's see if this happens. 1
PAOKSYD Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 i see paok working harder under ivic as a coach instead of some prima madona coach from somewhere in europe who doesnt want to coach in greece but is like ah well for 1m euros ill go and see F*** that, we deserve someone who respects and understands the club and doesnt have complexes like some small minded greek coaches do. In ivic i honestly feel we have a yugo coach who knows the whole world thinks he from some war torn s%$#! whole and wants to stick it to them to show them who he is, and that does suit us as PAOK
PAOKSYD Posted October 22, 2016 Posted October 22, 2016 As much as i have enjoyed ivic style in regards to press confrences, attitude, player selections and player attitude. So far in 2 bug tests he has failed. Ajax for champions league Qarabag to qualify for europa, even though not over i think we need a miracle to progress tbh. 3rd test is on sunday. Do i think he should stay on yes but so far we have achieved jack.
PAOKSYD Posted October 30, 2016 Posted October 30, 2016 he has failed the big 3 tests. still im happy for him to stay on, the way he held himself in the press confrence at kairaskaki shows this. But in reality we lost the match ourselves and he has fault in the loss as well.
pash Posted December 11, 2016 Posted December 11, 2016 Remember at the end of last season, when Ivic said he thought he knew why players were getting hurt so often, and he'd fix that? I guess he's fixed that. http://inpaok.com/330621
BostonThanatos Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 ...didn't he also say he would comment on it. What was the reason?
pash Posted December 12, 2016 Posted December 12, 2016 Sounds familiar, but I don't remember him ever saying anything else. Would be quite a twist if one of our intrepid reporters actually asked a useful question during a press conference, right?
pash Posted December 15, 2016 Posted December 15, 2016 Well speaking of cold water...http://inpaok.com/315966 And apparently the team really has been taking diving practice: http://inpaok.com/331182 A little on the nose for this sport.

That's actually quite impressive. Not something I'd expect from the PAOK of old, that's for sure.
paokarag4 Posted December 16, 2016 Posted December 16, 2016 something needed to be done, the last 2-3 years was a joke with injuries. whatever they are doing is working and there's been a pretty big swing in form with players like Rodrigues, Leovac and Cimirot all who missed big chunks last season looking a lot more solid without being interrupted by injury
pash Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Ivic reportedly about to be offered a new contract through 2019, which will include a doubling of his wages and a 3mm EUR release clause.
kozi Posted March 12, 2017 Posted March 12, 2017 Clown should be given his marching orders instead they want to extend. Club truly is deluded.

We tried for Mourinho but his demand for 1000 kg of olives that are only picked by virgins couldn't be fulfilled. We were unable to find enough virgins. 2

PAOKSYD Posted March 13, 2017 Posted March 13, 2017 Why would anyone in their right mind want to sack ivic?? Ok we lost a derby. Its a derby guys. Scream when we dont best veria and the like thats where championships are won and lost.
Dutch Eagle Posted April 16, 2017 Posted April 16, 2017 Ivic is the first coach in 5 years to sit on a bench for 365 days or more. And here are some other facts about him and his reign: http://inpaok.com/348053/60-και-συνεχίζει-ο-ίβιτς/ 1
pash Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 Ivic strongly implying he won't be with the club next season. Seems the witch hunt ever since we crushed Panathinaikos has gotten to him. It would be a big shame if he were to leave.
pash Posted June 1, 2017 Posted June 1, 2017 And now we're linked with Lucescu (who I think is a decent enough coach)
Blackhawk Posted June 1, 2017 Author Posted June 1, 2017 pash you realize the Lucescu in question is Mircea Lucescu, the 72 year old ex-Zenith, Shakhtar, Besiktas, Galatasaray, Inter Milan Reggina, Dinamo Bukurest coach and not his son that coached Xanthi.
