Ziaka Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Fanis Gekas was loaned by PAO to German side VlF Bochum for one season, with an option sell the player after the loan period.
evalagoal Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 AWESOME MOVE! This is going to make him better. I love the idea and a great upper management idea by PAO. He's the type of player that can make this club some $$$ I LIKE IT!
Crazy Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 Good move for him and a great opportunitie to show his abilities in a much better championship like the bundeslinga.
GS1905 Posted August 23, 2006 Posted August 23, 2006 clever move by PAO and a chance to shine in a lowly team of a competitve league.. :)
Akritis_1944 Posted August 24, 2006 Posted August 24, 2006 Good luck to Theofani "The Gekko" Gekas. Maybe he can find a decent German hairdresser and get rid of the barbouni he's been wearing on the back of his melon.
Ziaka Posted August 24, 2006 Author Posted August 24, 2006 This is good news for PAOK, since they owe 40% of Gekas contract as part of the Salpiggidis deal. If Bochum excercises their option and buy the player, PAOK will benefit financialy as well.

Ziaka Posted August 24, 2006 Author Posted August 24, 2006 Every little bit helps, as long as it goes to the team and not to the owners pockets.
DUDE Posted August 25, 2006 Posted August 25, 2006 Good luck to Theofani "The Gekko" Gekas. Maybe he can find a decent German hairdresser and get rid of the barbouni he's been wearing on the back of his melon.

Spears Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 BRAVO FANI PROVE IT TO PAO that u have something
chameleon65 Posted September 17, 2006 Posted September 17, 2006 Glad for the guy..good for him..Yes prove PAO that you were worth to keep
Akritis_1944 Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Glad for the guy..good for him..Yes prove PAO that you were worth to keepReally positive for Fani to be performing. Hopefully he can help his side off the bottom of the ladder. 4 matches gone and they only have the draw they got this past weekend at Nurenburg who were league leaders, so that is something positive. Check out Fani's hairstyle from the clubs website: Looks like the German climate has kick started the mullet into super growth.
mouxritsa Posted September 18, 2006 Posted September 18, 2006 Fanis's hair is rapidly migrating from the top of his head to the back... By the way, in the parts of Greece where I come from (Epirus coast), we call this particular hair growth pattern a "kosa" (
Paoktsis Posted September 20, 2006 Posted September 20, 2006 Guys say what you want about his hair, but the guy is performing well. He is a player who has a knack for scoring goals. Maybe some forwards on the NT should grow mullets and perform like Fani.
