Dutch Eagle Posted January 31, 2023 Posted January 31, 2023 He will be subbed in at injury time like the fiesta match against Levadiakos in 2019.....
Blackhawk Posted January 31, 2023 Author Posted January 31, 2023 He should be ready for the playoffs, but frankly I see him just getting playing time in the last Toumba game of the season for his farewell.
Blackhawk Posted April 12, 2023 Author Posted April 12, 2023 El Kaddouri's injury is not serious and he is on day-to-day basis. We might still see him play this season.
Athens4 Posted April 13, 2023 Posted April 13, 2023 We might see him play this season but it should be the last season that we see him play.
pash Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 Narey hospitalized due to a respiratory issue of some sort. Wild. Hope he feels better soon. Big loss for the team as well...
paokarag4 Posted April 19, 2023 Posted April 19, 2023 Seems it's as a result of having suffered COVID at some point, not sure if that was recent or a while ago. Club said he won't train for 2 weeks, not sure if after that he'll be cleared to train fully and potentially play. Or if he'll be eased back into things and potentially miss the last month of the season. Good news is he is okay and the playing side of things will work itself out in the coming weeks.
Blackhawk Posted April 19, 2023 Author Posted April 19, 2023 Apparently Narey had breathing problems yesterday and ended up in the hospital, where he was initially diagnosed with micro thrombosis of the lungs, which is believed to have been caused by COVID-19. He will be treated with medicine and will have to abstain from practices for the next 14 days. At that point he will undergo new tests to see if things improved. He will miss so much practice and it will take some time for him to come back to full health assuming the test after the 14 days are positive. In my opinion, he is done for the season.
pash Posted May 6, 2023 Posted May 6, 2023 Narey is officially done for the season. I hope this does not end up ruining his career....he's been great for us. Fingers crossed for next season.
Dutch Eagle Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Felipe Soares has a rupture of the quadriceps. He will be out for 5 or 6 weeks.
pash Posted August 19, 2023 Posted August 19, 2023 Thank God it's not the ACL that was guessed earlier. Sucks that he'll be out but muscle injuries at least can heal...
paokarag4 Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 Looks like Samata's scans were clear and he has escaped without doing anything serious. He will be monitored day-to-day and is a chance to be fit against Hearts this week. Even if he misses the first leg, massive relief that he hasn't suffered a long term injury. 1
pash Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 Tsiggaras also trained normally today, so may be available. I would bet the coach will rest both of them (or use as late subs) so as not to risk anything...but who knows!
Athens4 Posted August 22, 2023 Posted August 22, 2023 With all these issues in the midfield I bet Lucescu is just itching to get Biseswar back in, even it's on a pay-as-you-play basis.
Bananas Posted August 23, 2023 Posted August 23, 2023 (edited) Our squad is thin this season. By that I mean the quality between the best 11 (who aren't too bad) and the bench. I can see us beginning to drop points from round 10'ish. Sooner if we qualify for the ECL. Edited August 23, 2023 by Bananas
Blackhawk Posted February 20, 2024 Author Posted February 20, 2024 Apparently Ekong played the whole African Nations Cup with injury. After returning to PAOK it was determined that the injury is quite serious and it is not known when he will return back to action.
Blackhawk Posted February 23, 2024 Author Posted February 23, 2024 Michailidis out for 5 weeks after getting injured in 3rd minute of the cup game. Ekong playing the full African tournament injured will miss the rest of the season. As far as CB's is concerned we are left with Kedziora, Koulierakis and Nasberg. We will need to bring someone from PAOK 'B' for the rest of the season. 1
pash Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 Gotta be Panagiotou. Hopefully he plays well enough that he puts those other two out of a job. 1
Blackhawk Posted February 23, 2024 Author Posted February 23, 2024 Good thing is that Panagiotou is also on the UEFA list of players.
Dutch Eagle Posted February 23, 2024 Posted February 23, 2024 How can Troost-Ekong have been playing with an injury in AFCON without the medical staff noticing???? Nåsberg is not on the list for our European matches.
Blackhawk Posted March 20, 2024 Author Posted March 20, 2024 Baba and Ozdoev are missing practices due to minor injuries. Also today Koulierakis had to leave the national team practice due to injury.
pash Posted March 20, 2024 Posted March 20, 2024 Michailidis should be back to training (non-individually) pretty soon, hopefully. Will be good to get the depth back.
pash Posted May 23, 2024 Posted May 23, 2024 That foul on Konstantelias in the Aris game will apparently sideline him for at least a month. Not great, both for his preseason and for our attempts to get maximum value for him in the transfer market.
pash Posted August 23, 2024 Posted August 23, 2024 No official word on Brandon Thomas yet, but it seems he rolled his ankle and so might have a sprain. My guess is that he'll miss Saturday's game, so expect Chalov to get another start.
