pash
Giannoulis getting an MRI. Looks like a possible muscle issue and not a tendon, but fingers crossed. Keep in mind that Lyratzis is not a LB, and Pereira is not on our EL list. Wague on the left?
Blackhawk
More likely Rodrigo on the left and Wague on the right. I think Pereira will get playing time on Sunday.
pash
Giannoulis is out for four weeks: https://www.paokfc.gr/nea/20201106-iatriko-deltio-gia-ton-dimitri-giannouli/
Dutch Eagle
Our luck that a part of those 4 weeks is without EL on Thursday and the NT has duties.
Blackhawk
Muscle strain of 2nd degree. The press release said 4 week absence, but heard a PAOK reporter on radio say up to two months possible. Unfortunately this was inevitable since he was playing non-stop since August without any breaks, including national team.
Ellada2004
A tough blow. I hope he recovers fast and comes back 100%.
Blackhawk
One COVID 19 infection to PAOK player reported today. He is now in quarantine. In other PAOK COVID matters, the VP Makis Gagatsis who was infected and hospitalized for a while was released from the hospital today. Also Koulis Iosifidis (U19 team manager) is also in the hospital infected and his condition has apparently worsened.
Blackhawk
Jaba did not take part in practice today complaining about his knee. Wonder if it is the real reason for his absence.
Blackhawk
Trying to answer the critics after his latest injury, Jaba confirmed that he was the player that had COVID couple weeks ago:

paokarag4
Ο Ομάρ Ελ Καντουρί δέχτηκε ένα χτύπημα στην ποδοκνημική και η κατάστασή του θ’ αξιολογηθεί τις επόμενες μέρες.................. If I was Garcia I would fine anyone who comes within 3 meters of El Kaddouri at training. Jaba back in full training, while Augousto didn't train with the rest of the squad apparently nothing serious it's just a day to day management issue. Blackhawk
The unknown COVID victim from last week appears to be Lyratzis, so we have COVID victims so far this season: Stoch Warda Limnios Wague Jaba Vierinha Lyratzis Giannoulis
Blackhawk
El Kaddouri's injury is not serious, but he might sit the Giannina game out in order to be ready for PSV Eindhoven. Augusto is till bothered by his injury and trained by himself.
pash
Wouldn't mind seeing Esiti start the Giannina game, with Murg as the #10. El Kaddouri is made of glass, shouldn't risk him. Hell, perhaps Ninua will even get some minutes.
Blackhawk
Vierinha to undergo an MRI following injury after the Lamia game. Most possibly a muscle strain. That's what happens when you don't follow full pre-season training.
pash
Looks like he's out for ten days. Hopefully they bring him back into the setup slowly
pash
Wague out for a long time it seems: https://www.paokfc.gr/nea/20201214-iatriko-deltio-gia-ton-moussa-wague/
paokarag4
Shame, very unlikely we see him play for PAOK again. In what may well be his last act for the club will be one that will go down in Toumba folklore, it's just unfortunate that his brave effort ended up being on a losing team. Speedy recovery Moussa. Blackhawk
I am afraid Wague will not play soccer again at all. Not competitively at least. Good luck to him.

pash
Crespo hurt again as well. Expect to see a Varela/Ingason duo for a while. https://inpaok.com/676038/thlasi-o-krespo-2/
pash
Re the above: I forgot that Ingason is going to be sitting out a few games due to suspension. Varela and Michailidis it is! Hopefully they don't get hurt in the next ~two weeks.
Dutch Eagle
If so we put Krmencik next to one of them for neutralising all balls that are pumped in the box.
