Oooh that makes sense. Especially considering when I glanced through the games I couldn't identify any Romanian teams...

But yes I think we'd basically need to have, what, three or four teams make it into the knockouts? Very tall order.

I wouldn't characterize this as a "rough week," personally. The gap to 15th place was cut down even further and is now less than 2 points. It was something like 3.5 at the start of qualies. I'd imagine PAOK and Olympiakos will make UECL knockouts. If one of AEK and Panatha can make it through too we'll be in great shape.

Another bad night for Greek teams.  Had a chance for four teams to go through, only 2 made it...On the bright side, the two wins bumped us up to 17. Serbia is out and Ukraine doesn't look like they will get much.  Now from 17 to 15, that will be tough. Will need our teams to get a few wins, at least past the next round..

Either way - that's the best we have performed in Europe in a very long time. If OLY would win, do they get automatic entry to Europa next year? If that's the case, that means we would have 5.

We are already set with 4 teams for next season (2024-2025). To have 5 teams in 2025-2026 Olympiakos need to beat Aston Villa twice (penalty shootouts don't count) and win the final either in  regular time or extra time (again no penalty shootout)

If OLY wins they grab the ECL titelholderspot in EL. But if OLY manages to win SL they move to the higher valued (qualifiers) CL.

Greece only will have 5 spots next European season if O Aris wins the cup and OLY finishes 4th in SL and wins ECL.

Very good season. It seems like Greek teams perform every other year so hopefully we’re not let down next season…

Good start to the year so far. Greece is 4/4 with wins. Not only that, but Austria already has a team that’s been completely eliminated and an Israeli team was knocked out of the UCL qualifiers. Greece should aim for 12th place this year.

Good week for Greek teams. 2 wins and a tie, should have been 3 from 3 but still good. Back to 13 and our gap between 11 to where we are tightened. Can go up as high as 11 or as low as 18. More realistically, we end up around 13 to 15.

Austria's two teams in the CL are pretty much out, they'll have one team left. So it seems like Greece and Norway will be in for the 11th spot. We have an advantage on the rest of the teams below so hopefully we don't mess it up. The 10th spot is not happening.

What a far cry from this disaster! The Greek league has certainly had a step up in quality. I think the 9-12 range is a realistic place. Of the countries ahead of us now, Czechia can be realistically surpassed at some point. Turkey was below us at 22 just a couple of years ago, so they can be a bit volatile as well. Other than that, not sure if one could expect to compete with the likes of Belgium and the Netherlands.
