Original Sydney Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 No news yet and with the elections coming up it will only delay it further. We are obviously $20 mill short due to the current govt blocking us the money we were promised, great country they don't want jobs being created by the looks of it. F***en Syriza more important to them to sell out Greece than help her.
Doxa Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 (edited) Ah let's give 20 mil to the club with the richest owner in the country instead of giving money to help the Greeks that are starving to death. Yeah very logical. And don't give me that crap about creating jobs. Half of the money spend on the stadium will end up in the pockets of construction companies owned by Meli or his friends the other half will end up through some other dirty deal in the pockets of Meli. Like with his dirty oil deals, where he was almost convicted for, untill his friends from Nea Demokratia were paid off by him and helped him out. Edited August 28, 2015 by Doxa 1

Very rich coming from a gavro to be talking about shady presidents. Yeah Mel is dirty and shady but Marinakis no, he's an angel and the gandi of greek football.........The stadium will create hundreds of jobs and improve the general area of Nea Filadelphia, make it a tourist attraction and generate some sort of life into the place instead of the ghost town it is now. 1
Doxa Posted August 28, 2015 Posted August 28, 2015 I've never said Marinakis is an Angel but your president was already doing dirty deals with government officials when Marinakis was still in kindergarten. Also for you, spare me the fairytales of wanting the money from the government just to create jobs. If the future of that stadium was such a moneymaker Meli would have build it already with his own money. 1
Akritis_1944 Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Not paying taxes is something that the rich are better at than the public servant leftists. Melisanidis and Marinakis are gold medalists.
Original Sydney Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Doxa we were promised this money by govt when our stadium was demolished and Meli had the balls to go face them and ask for it, something none of our past presidents would do. Its simple don't make promises that cant be kept.
Original Sydney Posted August 30, 2015 Posted August 30, 2015 Kala Syriza promised the Greek people the world and they ruined everything, they sold out Greece instead of looking after her.
Original Sydney Posted August 31, 2015 Posted August 31, 2015 Doxa how wouldn't it create jobs? Whatever you think about where the money will go is another issue and another assumption of yours and nothing more. Who will build the stadium? Meli himself and 6 mates? You got no idea at times...... Stop showing so much hate and actually think before you speak.
Original Sydney Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 (edited) About time Meli spoke up and put this w*nker Mayor in his place at yesterday's meeting. I wonder if he was the Mayor of Pireaus would he be doing all these delays and sad excuses to Oly? Edited October 16, 2015 by Original Sydney
Original Sydney Posted October 18, 2015 Posted October 18, 2015 100% right OH, I really don't see what the issue with a team building a stadium is. This is why Greece is a joke. They want football to go forward but don't want teams having grounds, that makes sense.
Original Sydney Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Makes me laugh the area is a dump and this will only give it life and lets not forget the museum they are putting there which will attract tourism. Meli said it would generate the Govt $20 million euro a year in tourism yet these dopes don't want it. Only in Greece........
Kef Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 What is the latest on this? Last I read, it was the Ministry of the Environment that needed to conduct an environmental impact study and issue the final permit for construction to proceed. Is it still being held up by the ministry?
Original Sydney Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 No Kef we have been given all the permits except one from the Mayor of the area. He is the hold up for this
Original Sydney Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 I want to know how many more approvals and permits we need to have before we can actually see some action happening......
Dikefale11 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 Unbelievable how long this has taken, only in Greece would it take over a decade to decide wheither we can build a stadium or not...
Original Sydney Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 If it was for Oly though it would've been done in a heartbeat but AEK & PAO cop this sh*t, xeftilismeno kratos.
Megas Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 to be quite honest I don't think olympiakos have anything to do with stopping us building a stadium. if it wasn't for the Olympic committee being so desperate and forced to build karaiskaki olympiacos would be in the same boat as us. I remember they were trying to build a new stadium in rendi for ages.
PAOKSWEDEN Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 I really hope you guys get the approval soon to start building. I've seen the footages and can't say anything other than that it looks fantastic. Hope that it can trigger Savvidis to finance a new/highly renovated Naos for us ;)
Original Sydney Posted November 12, 2015 Posted November 12, 2015 PAOKSWEDEN I had once seen (about 2 years ago) footage of PAOK and the changes they wanted to make to the stadium and also to have training fields, not sure what happened and why they have gone ahead yet but they also looked very good.... Shame Greece is so f*cked up that they don't want the nation going forward and stopping teams from building stadiums, which will also create jobs for people..... 1
Original Sydney Posted November 23, 2015 Posted November 23, 2015 Lets see what new excuses are given this time.........
PanaTO Posted November 30, 2015 Posted November 30, 2015 Any updates? Also, you would think the super league would help AEK build their stadium along with all other clubs. Oh wait, I think that's an oxymoron
Original Sydney Posted December 17, 2015 Posted December 17, 2015 (edited) Great news overnight as we got the green light for the $20 mill from Dourou and her buddies , its not far away now!!!!! Edited December 17, 2015 by Original Sydney
