There are a few locals against the stadium and are siding with the m**** Vasilopoulo which is also making it hard, but there is no reason as to why it has taken this long. Oly had their approval done overnight yet AEK has waited 3 years.

"μαφιόζικη επίθεση" hahahahaha, this must be from a red site. A group of 25 go slap a few around and they call it a mafia hit.

I hope that dog of a mayor who has come out and said publicly he's a gavro cops the belting of his life the f*cken dog. He deserves everything that's coming his way.

As great as it sounds I'm sure we will hear "there is one more licence to get after that it all starts"

Smart thinking though, the teams going s%$#! and they throw this article out there to try take the focus off the disaster we have been witnessing so the fans can somewhat get excited.

If it ends up looking anything like that cake, it will be a jewel! And all the tsigkounia of Tiger will be forgotten, a club is not a club without a proper home. The long term future of AEK will be looking very bright once it moves into its own grounds.

Finally the dark ages of Greek football is finishing.  All that is left is for Paok to rejuvenate Toumba and POA to have a go at Leoforos and fix that up too (if its possible).

I am not sure what they will do with Leoforos, its a small stadium, very old and not much space to work around it, better off with a new start

PAO needs a real deal owner before anything else...AEK and the league going to benefit immensely from a proper home, it has been a long and frustrating ordeal but the dream for all AEK fans is getting so close now, its going to be a huge deal.
