kbxk508 Posted October 23, 2016 Posted October 23, 2016 He wasn't in the Dortmund team which drew 3-3 with Ingolstadt. After 24' they were 2-0 down, from soft goals in the middle of the box, coming from set plays. Even their 3rd goal conceded, came from a cross and poor marking in the box. I was shocked to see how poor Dortmund defended without Soc in this match.
georgelaz Posted October 24, 2016 Posted October 24, 2016 he'll pick it up. auth oi kinezi kai koriates douleuvin mexri na pesoun
Nikod Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Ride the bench during Dortmunds wild 8-4 victory today. I guess to his credit
Nikod Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Is he carrying an injury from the bosnia came perhaps? they subbed off the hapless Bartra for another defender. seemed like a formation change tho.
Original Sydney Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 Dortmund already through plus they just played Bayern, great coaching to rest him especially with International matches in there also
Nikitas Posted November 23, 2016 Posted November 23, 2016 ^indeed , this wasnt hard to answer. altough tuchel has the tendecy to rest to many sometimes , here he replaced 3 defenders and burki is out for 2 months. shows why they ate 4 goals.
georgelaz Posted November 24, 2016 Posted November 24, 2016 got an 86 in form on fifa. we have one of the best defensive duos in game now. top 5 perhaps http://www.futhead.com/17/players/51013/sokratis/
Argy Posted November 25, 2016 Posted November 25, 2016 (edited) I actually saw him at 87. Exactly where he should be as standard rating IMO. Regardless of the game, we have a top 3 defensive duo in world football. Edited November 25, 2016 by Argy
Nikod Posted December 3, 2016 Posted December 3, 2016 Bartra sucks. Headed his clearance straight to a gladbach player, who scored with a nice finish. But Dortmund equalized in seconds. 1-1
Argy Posted December 5, 2016 Posted December 5, 2016 (edited) I've been saying it for a while, Dortmund should have signed K Papadopoulos instead. They would have gotten a, when healthy, better CB for less money, that would play and develop alongside his countryman Sokratis. I think KPap would flourish and the duo would be dominant. Argy Posted December 6, 2016 Posted December 6, 2016 (edited) Worth the gamble at least as a 3rd CB. Edited December 6, 2016 by Argy 1
pash Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Why? Dortmund has cash and no shortage of admirers who want to play there. Unless they got him at an absolutely massive discount, I don't see why they'd bother. 1
pash Posted December 7, 2016 Posted December 7, 2016 Do you think they think so? And if they did, does him being "really good" count for more than his history of serious injuries?

Argy Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 (edited) I am not denying that he is injury prone and bigger clubs will opt for the sure investment, but Pap has a huge upside if he stays healthy. Yes, you will respond with ''IF'', but nevertheless, all I am saying is that the gamble can pay. Edited December 8, 2016 by Argy

He needs to have a really good, injury-free season with a lower level club before he can start thinking of the better teams 2
Dikefale11 Posted December 8, 2016 Posted December 8, 2016 Had an great game vs Real yesterday, besides Ronaldo's shot that hit the post, he was in Sokratis' back pocket the whole night. Kind of reminded me of this; 1
Bananas Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 @Dikefale11 great video. Haven't seen that one in a while. He was BEAST that game.
georgelaz Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 an Austrian exchange student today my gym was rocking a Sokratis dortmund jersey. So I had to give him props and I told him that he's from the same city as myself in Greece :)
pash Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 I like that they call him a STAR in that article, but I'm kind of left scratching my head over the speed comments. Sokratis is pretty quick, especially for a big dude.

It`s so refreshing to see him being called a star when it seems like media and foreign fans alike do everything in their power to under-appreciate our top players. 1
Nikod Posted December 9, 2016 Posted December 9, 2016 hahaha go sokratis. ronaldo taking a lot of shade over this one.
