We offered $1,8 million, but there was a Mexican club who made an offer before us (of $1,7 million). The only thing that's keeping the transfer from happening is the difference of € 500 000 between what his team wants and AEK offers. But the president of his team said: "That is true, but I have been informed that there is a second offer underway. The only thing that's freezing the transfer atm is the way in which the money will be paid (in parts of €...). The schedule for payment AEK had drawn up is not to the wishes of the Argentinians and they have faxed through another possibility. However this is no reason at all to cancel the agreement say both parties. The contract Blanco is about to sign would be one for three years and for a sum of € 1 000 000 in total. Still no solution for Tzavella. His agent, Giannis Kainourios, will have a meeting with Spiro Kalogianni from FC Kerkyra within the next two days. No solution for Jefferson yet. The player/agent have made an augmentation in the price of €200 000, with the result to be the transfer to come to a freeze. It's not unlikely that AEK will be looking elsewhere if there are no solutions in sight. Sifakis already one of the names that are being brought up for this. He returned to OFI yesterday after his trial at Birmingham. Ferrer is happy with the work that's being delivered by his players, on and off the ball. Pavlis will most probably be going to Nea Ionia for one seazon, in Chronis' tracks. Leonardo Carol Madelón, a Technical Director from Olimpo said AEK is doing something great by getting Blanco, and said the player is a very good footballer. Nikolaidis and Dimitris Drosos from the KAE will have a meeting, with Nikolaidis offering help for KAE's "new page". And this one here is definitely no gossip. Genome Posted July 31, 2007 Share Posted July 31, 2007 Here's the next load of rumors: Blanco is very happy to come to AEK, and sees it as a lifetime chance, in both football and financial ways. He also got offers from the first division of Argentina, but these teams only wanted him for one year, and Colon didn't want to transfer him on loan. There was no second offer made by Necaxa. Yesterday morning's training consisted of a 1 hour and 15 minute non-stop run. In the next 24 hours we will know where El Hadji Diouf will go on loan. This will most likely be either Ilisiakos or Iraklis. Jefferson's transfer is still stranded on the financial part. From AEK side though there is a confidency that the transfer will take place. In case of this not happening, Dusan Kuciak would be the next choice. There has been no offer to him yet. In an interview with Filathlos, he said that he knows about the intereset, and would have no problem playing in Greece, but also that everything depends on his team, Zilina. Ivic shows his professionalism. He knows he's practically out of the team, yet he keeps giving himself 100% during the training sessions. Steaua's interest seems to have faded in him.
