  1. So proud of you guys, Greek clubs did the impossible. Now it's the Greek NT turn to make us proud next Thursday.

  2. Unbelievable come-back and result!!! Huge effort by the boys and hats off to Lucescu, he heard plenty after the last 2 weeks so I hope he gets to enjoy and really soak in the victory/qualification! He and the team can put their feet up and savour the result for a week or so and then get back to work during the international break for the game against PAO! Bravo PAOKARA!!!

  3. UNBELIEVABLE!!! Never did I even thought it was possible for Olympiakos to come back from three goals down at home and to try to turn things around that quickly on the road. This has to be the greatest comeback in franchise history in UEFA club competition.

  5. Indeed. Reaching the round of 16 gave us 600K For reaching the QF UEFA sends us a check of 1 mio

  6. Did making it to this stage net us another million euros? Or did we get 600k (with that million coming only if we win the QF games)? Got myself confused with the link Dutch Eagle shared on page 5 of this thread.

  7. I read online that Kazakhstan is missing one of their starters due to suspension for our game, and Georgia is missing one of their best players for the game vs Luxemburg.

  8. Even though we could have been drawn against Olympiakos in QF and SF, we will not meet them until the final. Wouldn't it be great to have a PAOK - Olympiakos final in the AEK stadium, with fans of both teams present!!!!

  9. Yeah I totally tripped listening to Tsiartas speaking spanish. Who would've thought it. I think he only played 2 season in Spain. Anyway, good on him. As to the draw all things considered, Brugge is a good draw. All teams are strong at this point. 50/50.

  10. Considering we haven't made a major tournament in years this team is in no position to take any team lightly. This wont be an easy match and they better not start looking to the final match before this game is over. Kazakhstan will not be an easy out. In saying that we have a golden opportunity to finally make a major tournament and if Greece cant come out on top against Kazakhstan, Georgia or Luxemburg than we really haven't progressed at all under Poyet. We need to now take that next step.

  11. We beat Fiorentina like 10 years ago! Back when Pash was 35. Give me Plzen or Brugge

  12. Ones to avoid are for sure are Aston Villa (4th in England) and Lille (4th in France) IMO. Fenerbahçe/Plzen/Club Brugge would all be close to 50-50s. Olympiakos I want to avoid until at least the semis, don't think Greece is ready for an all Greek European tie. I imagine plenty of chaos if we were to be drawn together and UEFA would probably get a proper look at our xalia. Fiorentina is having an average year in Italy (currently 8th) but you have to respect their name. I put them as close to the 50-50 category, probably 60-40 in their favour.

  13. I did some research on Kazakhstan, they are a decent side produced one shocking result in defeating Denmark at home 3-2. They lost twice to Slovenia 1-0, beat Finland away 2-1 and lost to them at home 2-1. Of course, Denmark beat them at home 3-1. Kazakhstan can score goals, but their defense is suspect. Sure, Greece can't take them lightly.

  15. What a magnificent night of European football for PAOK. I never expected this result. Let's see who our opponent will be in tomorrows draw for the quarterfinals.
