Full of excuses! You sir drag Greece down to the lowest level on any international competition. Greece should be playing in League D with such BS performance. Greek fans deserve better! At least in Greece our track and field athletes brought us more joy than this hot garbage!7 points

This should be our list of players moving forward. Vlahodimos, Barkas, Pashalakis Bakakis, Torosidis, Manolas, Sokratis, Retsos, Siovas, Stafylidis, Holebas Galanapoulos, Kourbelis, Zeca, Mantalos, Pelkas, Fortounis, Fetfatzidis Lazaros, Donis, Klonaridis, Karelis and Mitroglou That's it!!!!3 points

This could be a blessing in disguise. Fire the coach, replace him with someone capable, bring back Holebas!, call up Vlahodimos and Klonaridis and STOP with Tziolis and Tzavellas. I never want to see these two near the NT again. Start calling up Galanopoulos and we'll be fine in Euro qualifying.3 points

The way we are playing we have no hope. I have done to a point now where I've nearly lost hope for this team. Skibbe has made look like a laughing stock. We can't take him serious. I certainly can't. He should be out. Tziolis, Bakasetas and Tzavellas costed us this game. Yes Manolas stuffed up but of Sokratis was there it wouldn't of happened in the first place. I just want a new coach and a fresh start with players who are talented and make sense.3 points

I just want a new coach that doesn't call up has beens like Tzavellas and Tziolis. If we get that than I'm happy.2 points

I am not ready to suggest that Tsavellas and Tsiolis dont care about the team but instead are just past their expiration dates. This team isnt world beaters but could be a solid team that can get a result. However, the margin of error with lack of depth and poor coaching/selections is all it takes to make them a laughing stock.2 points

It is well known we are back in the dark ages. This was clear after Brazil 2014. No coach is going to make these duds get you anywhere. Until a Karagounis type player emerges with a few other half decent players just forget about it.2 points

Lol you guys think Odisseas will go back on his decision after seeing this game? Just kidding...2 points

How is starting Tzolis and bringing in Tzavellas acceptable?? How the hell do you not learn from your mistakes?? You had Bakasetas who is s%$#! and Pelkas on the wing at HOME against Hungary and it didn’t work so instead as of learning from your mistake you ass clown Skibbe you went with the same line up expecting to get a result?? Is this guy for real?? This is the same guy that was starting Tzavellas over Holebas what more needs to be said.. Even if a new coach comes in there is not enough time to reshape this team for the Euros in a much more difficult group.. sad to see but we are missing our 3rd straight tournament..2 points

Something we've been saying since the beginning with this coach.. http://www.agonasport.com/agonasport-allnews/skibbe-out1 point

Bro you are wrong... There are 2 tournaments going on simultaneously.1 the nations league cup and 2 the 4 spots for the euros. Each group gets 1 team going to the euros... For example in group C all the group winners will play in the playoffs and the winner gets a ticket to the Euros.. Same for group A, B and D... This was the big selling point about the nations league to the minnows who would never qualify from the regular Euros now 1 team gets a chance to appear in the tournament...1 point

Beric a header, but it's a weak one, and Panagi's got it1 point

Yellow against Kastanos. That's a suspension1 point

Ilicic, gets around Merkis, gets around Demetriou, SHOT! OVER THE NET! Everything but the finish!1 point

Demetriou, cross to Sotiriou, the shot he scores! Oh no they call it back on an offsides!1 point

Yes absolutely, imagine the Ethniki without Fortounis. Scary.1 point

Anastiadis would definitely be better than Skibbe, but I'm unsure whether a Greek coach is the way to go. I'm hoping on Carlos Queiroz personally.1 point

fortounis is a class above pelkas.1 point
-
Pelkas should have played that ball back to Fortounis who was in a great position but instead Pelkas shoots totally of balance and misses the net. The expression on Fortounis face said it all.1 point

Basically if i understand we need to beat finland 3-0 in greece and also beat estonia and they have to lose their remaining match against hungary Would this be correct ? Because we need to score do any of you guys think Fetfatzidis should start. I still think that Fetfatzidis and also Sotiris ninis are more talented offensively than many players we have in greece at the moment1 point
-
Skibbe should have been fired for drawing to Estonia at home during the previous WC qualifying for how he approached the game. Not once has the team looked to impose themselves. After years of Skibbe being in charge they still lack anything resembling an identity besides playing old, slow and over the hill players.1 point
-
I always supported Skibbe. Until the Saudi Arabia game. Even after our win in Tallinn, I thought he could perhaps manage it and make us qualify for the 24-teams new Euro. But its clear we must get rid of him, the sooner the better. Unfortunately, those who have always doubted have been right all along.1 point
-
if we actually played our best lineup there's no doubt that'd we'd beat finland 9 times outta 101 point
-
Skibbe said in post interview we had injuries, what crap if we were that bad play more conservative to hold score and counter. Greek media asked him if he thought Finland was Brasil hahaha it's about time gets some heat. This team struggles when any team packs the back one dimensional balls in the box come out...1 point
-
Skibbe is at fault for selecting them. He hasn't learnt anything and is afraid to play Fetfatzidis. Siovas should have been called up but Tzavellas plays instead. Mind boggling stuff.1 point
-
I already have. Listening to Nova sport they couldn't believe how disjointed this team looked today and how mind boggling skibbes selections were. It's a disaster. Finland could have realistically won by 4 goals they missed a tap in.1 point
-
It's how they lost. They can barely put two consecutive passes together and resort to those atrocious one-touches that end up with the other team taking possession 95% of the time.1 point

Was a very important player for the Ethniki for many years. As you say ellada, he had a hand in many historic moments for the ethniki. Also the equaliser v Germany in Euro 2012 which sent us into delirium for 5-6 minutes. My favourite player for a long time, it's a shame his career went downhill post World Cup '14. I'll always have fond memories of him though, bravo re Sam and congratulations on your career.1 point
-
Heard on Nova sport a reporter with the team in Finland said Skibbe may coach final two games as nothing has yet been determined and then the EPO will make a decision.0 points
-
Yeah, pretty sure that was a major selling point to the smaller nations... they would be playing for a Euro spot in League D. Funny thing is that Skopia is probably in prime position to get that spot lol.0 points
-
I know the chances are slim to none, but if we beat Finland and Estonia, and Finland lose both games we would both be on 12 pts. If we had better goal difference then why wouldn’t we be 1st?0 points
