All these years in the Champions league Marinakis did nothing for his team and the sheep who clapped for him. Now, after he destroyed Greek soccer being a member of a criminal organization, has his team playing qualifiers and had since last Christmas to make it happen and what did he do? NOTHING. TZIGGER # 2. Only for himself! KSEUTILES OUT!3 points

Greeko, calm down and have a Beer (no pun intended) W out threats to refs, Oly continues to prove that they cannot win. It's the same crap every year, At best, oly seasons usually last till Christmas and then it's over. Panatha has left a name for themselves in Europe. What our eyes have seen, u will never know the feeling. Just because the years of corruption is finally catching up, don't run and blame others. Have a nice day.3 points

3 times in a row now we have gotten a positive away result in the first leg, only to f**k it up at home. Nothing will ever change with this team. Always choking.2 points

If I had access to a time machine, I swear I'd go back in time and make my parents move to the U.S. instead of Australia, just so I didn't have to put up with these 4 o'clock kick offs.2 points

That's it. In a league of his own over there. More freedom to play the way he likes and get paid dong what he loves. None of this sitting on the bench m*****es at Genoa.2 points

Its a shame no Greek team has made CL Whether its OSFP or PAOK. Unfortunately Marinakis is to blame for destroying not only Greek League but also the National Team with the corruption. At the end of the day Marinakis cares about himself and no one else. He has raped and pillaged the Greek League and Olympiakos. Vangelis will bail now that there is no guaranteed CL money coming in and concentrate on his new project. Not sure what the future holds for Olympiakos but there is hope for the Greek League as it will allow AEK, PAOK, and PAO to compete again which will restore the strength of the Greek League. The next 5 years are crucial but this is a blessing in disguise. The Oly fans need to get rid of the cancer Marinakis!1 point

Spare us file. You guys had the worst Champions League campaign in the history of Greek football. We have been been the only Greek team that has amassed any UEFA coefficient points in the last five years while you guys struggle in Europa every year!1 point

marinakis is implicated has been clamped down like a blow torch coaches flee after winning titles ( red flag???) i think so selling roberto and friends they get the 50-50 against camel fc and lose over 2 legs1 point

I will never forget all the s%$#! talking marinakis did about cisse and pao after the disgraceful game in karaiskaki in 2011. It would be so hilarious to me if he just used olympiakos and their cl money to get Nottingham forest.1 point

I'd like to believe that he's not completely finished as a player. There is talent and skill there and is still only 26. He may never reach the heights that so many of us had hoped for but that doesn't mean that he'll never get back into the NT-fold either. Obviously in order for that to happen he needs to be playing at a higher level than the Saudi league; we'll just have to see if he has the desire and will to fight for it..1 point

What a disgraceful performance. Blame to go around here, from The board, to management and to the players. Everyone f.ucked the dog this summer. Shame on all of you, 15k season tickets sold and this is the thanks we get. Bravo to Hapoel, well deserved win for them, but we made them look good with our piss poor display. Someone explain to me why we need to line up with 3 def mids against these guys? Where was Pardo, Pulido, Seba, Victor subs Chori for Masuaku? Marinaki way to go, you sell Manola, Mitroglou, Samari all for over 10 mill each and you bring us Figueiras, Botia, Da Costa and leave us with no fresh blood this summer? Bravo, take the 30 million loss now vlaka. Kapino gets our only shot on target tonight in the 91rst....UNACCEPTABLE1 point

It just goes to show you how much of a Thrylos Marinakis is. Things heat up on him from Meli and co. in Greece so he jumps ship and tries to buy a club with the same colours in England....putting no attention into his little toy Oly.1 point

Only in Greece can a team play this unprepared. The crosses were horrid and there was no ability to control possestion. Best thing the greek super league can do is develop grass roots players because its obvious spending money on transfers not happening.... I dont think were even gonna win the league with thus team as is....1 point

LOL!! Welcome back aderfe! Both PAOK and Olympiakos out of Champions League! Feel bad for PAOK they gave it their all, but couldnt be happier the kseftiles of Greek football are out! It was nice when they qualified directly in the groups all these years! OUSSSSSSSSSTTTTTTTTTT!1 point

The fall out from this debacle will be interesting to see. These players would not be wanting to return to greece right now. The season is effectively over before its started, generally our year dies around christmas. If anything this will surely pave the way for a genuine title race. This team could realistically slip to 3rd or 4th in the super league. Where are the goals going to come from? May as well forfeit the europa qualifiers cos whoever we draw we wont be winning.1 point

Technically it was a foul, and because it was in the box, it's a penalty. So in terms of following the rules the referee did the "right" thing. Having said that, if every referee paid these sorts of fouls every game would have 15 penalties. It was a joke of a decision. There was no reason for Leovac to even give the referee the ammunition. It wasn't a dangerous situation. F-u-c-k-i-n-g m-a-l-a-k-i-e-s.1 point

True. The space we exploited (and the resulting opportunities we didn't finish) was because they had to chase the game. They had to score. Now not so, and it'll be interesting to see how the 2nd half plays out. I'm really annoyed we gave them such a cheap goal.1 point

Pumped too. According to history in CL and EL we have 74.2% chance to win/advance after a 1-1 the first leg. Last time we scr%?}# it, so this time it's our turn.1 point

any hints as to the starting 11? Will Almeida feature? Also, where will the game be streaming? Am on vacation with gf (not a soccer fan) and want to make sure I have an iron clad rationale for getting out of whatever she has scheduled to watch the match.1 point

I obviously meant "well" done. Maybe my phone is telling me something? Yeah Trond Sollied. Like a fish out of water he was at Olympiacos in the Champions league.1 point

He does get past players often enough I think, it's true like you say that he does not have that x factor or superior dribbling skill like a weiss kevin or galletti, but few players do, and they are not lining up to come to Greece. They have to be overpaid and even then they often prefer to be in a better league. Mirallas was a bust in France and came here to jump start his career, Galleti I think craved to be the star at a club with a decent size fan base, some CL exposure good money etc, and his club might have only let him go so easy because they knew he was damaged goods, Weiss was just a mercenary and its a shame because the kid has skills to spare, but any young guy that chooses to stay in the desert for more than 6 months to a year for me is not the kind of player I want at our club. I respect that football is a business and he has the right to make all the money he can, but I prefer a player who wants to do big things, not play in a league that is about as relevant as the salad menu of mc donalds.1 point

Sure re zero hour contracts, the thing is it is going to get worse and worse for the average Brit. I can understand the discontent at the EU as a eurosceptic, but the UK government is not going make things better for the average Brit post Brexit (if it happens). I agree with you regarding the bankers, but at this point the city is probably the best export this country has. If that goes, the tax revenues lost by HMRC are going to be significant. The answer to that is to regulate to a better and transparent standard, ironically Barnier tried to do that and the city told them to go do one... Indeed, Germany, CH, Scandinavian nations all have higher wages and better competitiveness than the UK does. The reason for this is productivity, the UK is nowhere near as competitive. This will continue as long as property/rent remains the biggest overhead for a business, the incentive becomes to move into smaller space for British businesses. Whereas in the other countries they work on getting more out of labour and systems to support extra productivity. Reducing wage costs is an easy sell to this current bunch of Tory muppets to get more competitive (even though it will largely do nothing but piss people off). I agree with the ref result, by not triggering article 50 on June 24 Cameron effectively kicked Brexit into the preservation box.1 point

Good luck to him. The fans clearly like Fetfa. I did like the clip though.1 point

He's neither a dekari nor a CF. That's why Ivic has a tough time finding a spot for him on the team and excluded him from the first game, even though he would have been the perfect player to start instead of Klaus in that game in my opinion. I just hope Bisesvar was game ready, which would give Ivic another option.1 point

It sounds like Pereyra might start in this match. I'll repeat my last lineup - very glad that Matos seems unhurt. Wouldn't be surprised to see Shakhov in for Charisis (since Ivic will be eager to show off his new toy)...but might be better as a sub. --Glykos-- --Matos--Crespo--Tzavellas--Leovac-- --Cimirot--Charisis-- --Campos-- --Rodrigues-- --Pereyra-- --Klaus--1 point
