Actually I'm more disappointed with Greece losing points in this game. I knew PAO didn't have a team to play in Europe this season, and I wouldn't like to see us being humiliated by a strong team.

What some of us were pointing out earlier in the summer, sadly was true... And some of our friends here said we were "losers" for being so critical.... It's just we value reality and we call it as we see it...

Friends, the emperor is naked, stop pretending otherwise. We need drastic changes, Tzigger and his associates MUST go. There's a sick (and sickening) situation within our team, for the last 10 years (and, yes, I include the year we won the title...)

I hoped we'd have a better team this season because we do have better players, but what the f&ck? The organization lacks the proper mentality. It's obvious we have the WRONG staff, from the coach to the trainer to the owner to the freakin cafeteria people!!!!!!!

The gavroi and yellow jackets who visit here shouldn't be proud either btw. Our state of football sucks big time, and this is NOT good. And to me it doesn't matter when you receive 7 and when we receive 5.... same crap, same shame! If the majority of the fans had more of a brain perhaps would have kicked those assh@les out long time ago...

Sometimes TOUGH LOVE is absolutely necessary!

No, some of the players ARE responsible for this mess. I'm talking about the ones who don't act professionally by NOT trying. When someone get paid to perform a job he MUST try. Many of our players are IDIOTS, INCOMPETENT, and don't know how to play (!!!!). But as long as someone tries, then he ..tries to do what he can. If he's no good, he should not be with the team! It's up to the coach to see who's worth what and who does what on the pitch. [but, that's too much to ask nowadays... Bake, Solid can't see]

We noticed that lack of urgency, lack of effort by many (ala Flavio) of our players over the years... this past summer too. I find this offensive as a fan.

Maybe the coaches can see. They just dont have anyone better. You actually think that? They use what they have. Too many times Ive seen a team replace someone and it backfired. This isnt Spain or England ot Italy, theres a huge drop from starter to the rest.

i did not see this game...1-1 is a pathetic result. its just as bad as losing to ionikos :tdowi dont care who's sick.... No excuses...!!!!!!!!!

there's always hope, but it shouldny come down to hope... This is a team that we shouldve beaten easily....

The only arguement is we didnt lose....Not yet

Look I agree with what most of you have said re PAO being disapointing - they blew it in the 1st half they should have been up a couple - but THAT WAS A PENALTY

That said that - Ebede was needed to save a couple later on - disapointing result - but not all is lost I think PAO will win on the road in the return leg :gr:

Unlike all the PAO dicks on this forum trolling the Olympiako board the other day, I will actually support PAO and hope that they win. Greeks have to support Greeks in Europe, simple as that.

Couldnt have said it better myself, bad results for Oly, AEK, Pao, Xanthi. Good effort by Atromitos, great win by Iraklis!!

Lets get behind all Greek teams, forget our allegencies, and cross our fingers that greece can get some points in Europe this season!!

 LONG LIVE AEK

why is it when a positive result is needed players like Leontiou are not brought in or Mantzios for that matter......No offensive minded players were brought in..

Makes one wonder how well this team/coach knows itself???

Agreed - Darlas came in when a goal was needed - why??????????????

Another great post, athineos is "drawing" in this thread. But the sheep and the sheep-trolls are still blaming the refs. Do you have a new conspiracy theory now? Maybe Uefa refs get bribed by Sokratis?

In an ideal world, sheep would take their lesson and start to be concerned mostly for their team deficiencies. Because both Oly and Pao are below european standards and it doesn't matter who is "better" among the two. However, in our real world, Oly fans will continue chest-thumbing for all those glorious domestic leagues and Pao fans will keep deceiving themselves that Europe is afraid of them. In the meanwhile, Greece is loosing points, good foreign players will think twice before joining our teams, new Greek talents do not appear and measures against violence are not taken.

On topic, today most Pao players were just lifeless walkers. No passion, no sweat. One would think that it was an off season friendly. This team (players, coach, management) is sleeping a deadly sleep. They have to wake up before it is too late for them and the Greek football.

NO THEY ALL SUCK!!!! Bravo Iraklis, Bravo Salonica  That's about it. If it hasn't been for Salpigidis (the same player you all thought wasn't good enough to play for the NL team)...you guess would have yet to win in the "SuperLeague" as well.

Good words!

Greek football is in a terrible state, and has been on a slippery slope during the last years while other countries improve. We all know it when we watch our teams play and then watch the championships of Italy, Spain, England, Germany, etc.

It's just so painful when this difference in quality becomes obvious during these head-to-head games. The rest of the year the team owners just pacify themselves with of refereeing, parages, injustice, conspiracies, and the such, instead of looking at how to improve the league.

Who the hell is the old fart from sweden. No champions league experience yet he is good enough to be coach for pao.

As I said before, as long as vardithogiannis is at the helm there is no future. The buck lies with him and his management team.

Tonight result was insult to fans and clubs reputation. When you see pap taking corner kicks ( A striker taking corner kicks instead of being in the box waiting to score) just shows what kind of brothelo coach we have.

We got rid of one karagiozi (melezani) and end up with another joker instead. Who recomended him to this club?

Its time for tzigger to sell up and leave for good.....

That's disgraceful.

Greek leagues are poor just because aside from the top 3 teams the rest are poor and have no money to buy talent. In any Italian, English, Spanish, French league you'll see even the teams at the bottom fo the table have talent. You don't see that in the Greek league. Teams in the bottom of Italy's table could whoop any of our team's asses. It's just a sad reality.

The only way we could ever do anything is if we get the right people to come in and control the league. Get some actual people who are wealthy and put money into their team(F*** you Kokkali). If Roman Abramovich wanted he could come in and buy the entire Greek league for $50 million Euros. That's how much a team's bench makes in the world's most prestigious clubs.
