Dutch Eagle Posted March 10 Posted March 10 Leg 1. Can we get a good result for the return? Or even better clinch the promotion for 99%?
Dutch Eagle Posted March 10 Author Posted March 10 Squad: Goalkeepers: Vlachodimos, Mandas, Tzolakis. Defenders: Mavropanos, Hatzdiakos, Retsos, Koulierakis, Rota, Vagiannidis, Giannoulis, Tsimikas Midfielders: Siopis, Zafeiris, Mantalos, Kourbelis, Mouzakitis, Alexandropoulos. Forwards: Masouras, Pelkas, Tzolis, Konstantelias, Ioannidis, Pavlidis, Douvikas, Chatzigiovanis, Karetsas. 1
Bootman Posted March 11 Posted March 11 Bakasetas injured. I would have taken Kostoulas instead of Douvikas. Also why Chatzigiovanis? Is he playing well? I would prefer Tzimas. Kids on fire. 1

paokarag4 Posted March 17 Posted March 17 (edited) Interesting to see what Jovanovic does with the goalkeeper. Vlachodimos is 3rd-4th choice at Newcastle and rarely makes the bench, let alone get any minutes. His last competitive hit out was in November for the Ethniki. Mandas plays more frequently, but is still 2nd choice at Lazio. He has 10 appearances for them this season. His most recent games being about a month ago when he played a league and cup game back-to-back. That leaves Tzolakis as the keeper with the most minutes and rhythm. Jovanovic has been loyal to Vlachodimos but maybe 4 months with no competitive football will sway him to one of the other two options. Edited March 17 by paokarag4
Dean97 Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Tzolakis for sure should start. Most inform player. Mandas 2nd choice and Vlachodimos 3rd choice now. Still would have Vlachodimos on the squad. He has experience and would be able offer something still. But yeah Tzolakis should be the 1st choice now.
PaokCT Posted March 18 Posted March 18 Or do you stay loyal to Vlachodimos who got you to this point. They may view it is still his campaign and by the time WCQ begin, you will see a new GK. Not saying that's what I agree with, but I can see that point as well. 1
ChrisT Posted Wednesday at 04:42 PM Posted Wednesday at 04:42 PM Apparently we're the most in form team in the Nations League ATM. https://www.sportsmole.co.uk/football/greece/uefa-nations-league/preview/preview-greece-vs-scotland-prediction-team-news-lineups_568201.html
Brklyngrk Posted Thursday at 01:15 PM Posted Thursday at 01:15 PM That takes into out account being in the C division those years.
Brklyngrk Posted Thursday at 07:01 PM Posted Thursday at 07:01 PM Tzolakis starts in goal, Mantalos next to Siopis. Delias takes Bakasetas place. Looks like a good 11.

ChrisT Posted Thursday at 07:51 PM Posted Thursday at 07:51 PM Jovanovic looks like a tramp that's found a suit!
ChrisT Posted Thursday at 07:56 PM Posted Thursday at 07:56 PM It's on iPlayer in the UK. Not sure if you can watch it from another country? There's an app for it or a website.

ChrisT Posted Thursday at 08:06 PM Posted Thursday at 08:06 PM Scotland are seeing a lot of the ball. Limited chances from both sides though.
Brklyngrk Posted Thursday at 08:11 PM Posted Thursday at 08:11 PM I think possession is 50-50, without many chances on either side...
