PAOK finishes in 22nd place and in tomorrow's draw we will get drawn against either FCBS or Ajax. If we progress we will face either Eintracht or Lyon.

I am almost certain that we will face Ajax in the next round.

VERY frustrating game. Great first, what, half hour? Then mistake after mistake. By the 70th minute I was wondering why we were unable to move with the ball in their third.

I guess ultimately it doesn't matter (and that 50/50 shot of FCSB actually is probably the best possible opponent for us in the next phase). And of the "good" teams, Ajax would have been the one I'd want to draw. So I guess we'll see how it goes.

Imagine how you'd feel if you went through the expense and trouble of going all the way to San Sebastian only to watch your team half-ass it like this. On the plus side, maybe they'll be fresher for this weekend.

FCSB is your best bet, Olympiakos were unlucky not to beat them with a man advantage mostly in the second half.

Disappointing result but it sounds like the better team won.  Overall I would say we achieved our goal i.e. to qualify to the next round since we are not a top 8 team.  Anything from here on is a bonus.  Still, our poor form in the last couple of months is a worry.
