FINAL GROUP B2 STANDINGS

England-15(+13)

Greece-15(+7)

Ireland-6

Finland-0

I think when we saw this group, we always assumed England would win it, who knew it would come down to tiebreakers. That win at Wembley will always be historic. Good job ethniki. Let's get to that 2026 World Cup!

Bravo paidia.  Getting the 2nd spot was the goal and they achieved that it's positive.  I think we plaid better without the big spotlight at home perhaps.

Who else will be in the playoffs and how do they determine opponent ranked or klirosi.

It's looking like 2nd for us now which is respectable with the England score.

So this means 2 legged playoff for League A and WC spot?  Or just WC spot.  What are the scenarios for WC..

This doesn’t qualify us for WC. What it does is promotional playoff for league A. Also gives us a chance for playoff for WCQ

Nice win 🇬🇷 We had our hands on winning the group a draw last match would have done the job. Ivanovich is a great manager and the players are rallying around him. I said it before if he had been in charge last Euro qualifiers he would have got us in over Georgia 💯

Correct, it will reserve a playoff spot to try to qualify for the World Cup if Greece defeats two opponents just like the EURO playoffs.

Right now it appears to be Poland, Serbia, Hungary and Belgium.
All of the countries from League A third place

Only the four highest-ranked UNL group winners which finish outside the top two places in their WCQ group are assured of a place in the WCQ playoffs.  If there are any of these places left when they have gone through each of the four leagues (14 group winners in Leagues A-D) they will then go to the overall league phase ranking, starting with League A and finishing with League D.
