  • Blackhawk changed the title to ECL-QR2-L2: Beitar Jerusalem - PAOK (03.08.23, 20:30 EEST)

It's time for the team to actually play like PAOK and go to Jerusalem and get a convincing win. But for that to happen we need somebody to score a goal. Hey Lucescu, how about playing with two strikers. What a novel idea.

Augusto and Vieirinha are available for the game. Augusto will be a big help in midfield as long as his mind is on the game and not his possible transfer to Nantes.

Possible lineup hinted by Lucescu:

--------------- Kotarski ---------------
 Kedziora - Ekong - Michailidis - Baba
------ Augusto -------- Schwab -------
  Narey ------- Taison ------ Zivkovic
--------------- Thomas ----------------

Most likely last game for Augusto in PAOK jersey, specially if we don't qualify. Also, I would have started somebody else instead of Brandon Thomas as forward.

It will be tough, but I think we will manage to qualify.

They need to play better than they did at home.  I was in Toumba for the first match, and it was a very boring match.  We had a few chances, but for the most part very sloppy, predictable play.  I agree that shaking things up and playing 2 strikers might be what we need.  The opposing team will do more of what they did in the first match, park the bus and hope for a counter attack goal.
