I love everything Savvidis and team have done for us these last several years, but we need to be honest. This looks like it will be the 2nd year in a row we cant even make the UEL group stage. The Superleague is not competitive. If you want to be serious about Europe, you need to start planning your summer moves in January and be quick to invest in upgrading your squad. Even a squad that's undefeated champs it's the SL and it means nothing. I know this team should be able to handle Slavia anyway, but you need to constantly build to be dominant so these things don't happen. This roster wasn't good enough for group stages last year, we should not have taken it for granted that it would be good enough this year. A $3mill transfer for a center half that appears to be a substitute for now is simply inadequate. Your moves need to be locked up in June and the additions participate in camps and be completely part of the team fabric. 

If you don't improve your starting XI year after year, you are basically going backwards in today's game. This is a bitter, bitter disappointment if it holds.
