comparing greece latest game with belgium is not a right approach. we had a defensive formation at 4-4-1-1 and 2 world class defenders. if we had gone there all out attack they would have slaughtered

fortounis nice hustle. he won like 2-3 tackles in midfield.

would be nice to get some more goals to up for goal differential. we have a decent one because of our defense... not sure how we'll stack up in playoff positions...

cyprus is looking better.. there's so many greek flags in cyprus

mantalos has been just as solid as laz though and laz has been out of NT for 3 years. too dicey of a game to just put new blood in. I think his decision was sound. A swap for mantalos for laz in second half though would be wise.

Greece seems to be playing back at this stage with 10 minutes left. Not always a good move to play so defensive.

 

Subbing Fortounis out suggests this as well.
