pash Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Now to roll over the other teams and get a CL qualifying spot.
Dutch Eagle Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Fireworks above the stadium. Via the organisation . Not illegal or by the fans.
Dutch Eagle Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 And pictures now live from the Leuko Pirgo getting filled with fans.
Athens4 Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 That was one of the worst finals I have ever seen. A clear offside goal which means that we have no leg to stand on if they screw us over in the play offs. Please Ivan buy a serious goalkeeper, the though of having Glykos next season is just terrible.
pash Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 Here are some highlights. Ivic starts talking around 9 minutes in. I love Matos' drive-by kiss: 1
PAOKSWEDEN Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 My first title that I got to experience as a PAOK fan! The events before the match and the offside goal surely had an impact on my feeling about this Cup title and prevented me from celebrating the way I had wanted to, but overall I'm happy and I think this could be the start of a new era! 1
pash Posted May 6, 2017 Posted May 6, 2017 I'm disappointed you weren't there in person! Here's a livestream of the celebration. I believe the team is going to show up there when they return, though it's going to be a long while: 1
kozi Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 (edited) Credit goes to Ivic for learning from the debacle at OAKA. Lineup was correct given the occasion and opponent. Edited May 7, 2017 by kozi

pash Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 (edited) I was wondering why I couldn't find it on their youtube feed...silly EPO -edit- spelling Edited May 7, 2017 by pash
Bajewy Posted May 7, 2017 Posted May 7, 2017 I just realized that we only had one Greek (glykos) on the field up until kitsiou came in at the 90th min : (
georgelaz Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 (edited) where was pelkas? glykos with a typical amazing save and amazing error lol. lazaros should be given an NT nod now with all our injuries especially. Edited May 8, 2017 by georgelaz
Blackhawk Posted May 8, 2017 Author Posted May 8, 2017 On 5/6/2017 at 3:39 PM, Athens4 said: A clear offside goal True, but it would have been a non-factor and would spare us the Athenian media hysteria if right before the goal the ref would call a penalty on Crespo. Clear take down in the box which would have resulted in a penalty kick and second yellow to the AEK player. Spare us the organized media hysteria ever since we destroyed Panathinaikos in the semis. All of a sudden the POK established in 1929 is alive and well. 1
pash Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 If that penalty had been called, the uproar would have been just as great. We'd see side by side comparisons of Berg tripping over that thick Thessaloniki air (it's much dirtier in the north, you know) all over the place.
Tzatziki Posted May 8, 2017 Posted May 8, 2017 Congrats on the win guys! Must have been a crazy night out the in Salonica. 1
Bananas Posted May 9, 2017 Posted May 9, 2017 Lots of pics here. Good to see Zagorakis there. As well as Garcia, who never seems to smile ha ha. Also, nice pic of Pelkas and Koudas. http://www.sport24.gr/football/omades/Paok/fwtografiko-reportaz-apo-to-glenti-twn-triwn-titlwn-ston-paok.4662423.html
pash Posted May 10, 2017 Posted May 10, 2017 This isn't something that should be celebrated, my greatest wish is that these cowards get some jail time. 1
Blackhawk Posted May 10, 2017 Author Posted May 10, 2017 Agreed, but the problem is that nobody in Greece wants to fix this problem. Unfortunately such violence is a tool by team owners and government official (actually they are the same entity) in order hide their incompetence in running a democratic country.
