Tachtsidis ahead of Stafylidis is a no brainer for all of us yet not Skibbe.

There is no ESPN 3 unless you are referring to the online one where you login yeah?

Yeah the online one, seems they have the rights in Aus to show a lot of the NT games.

And one last thing. Does anyont know if there have been callu ps for the Injured Diamantakos and Papadopoulos? These are 2 spots that could be easily filled with some exra youth to help them adobt with the team.

papadopoulos isnt injured. looks like he isnt gonna call up anyone to replace diamantakos yet. but maybe for the estonia match.

Looks like Greece is going with a 4-2-3-1

-----------------------------Karnezis-----------------------------

---Torosidis--Papastathopoulos--Manolas--Tzavellas---

-------------Maniatis---------------Stafylidis-------------------

---Mantalos-----------Fortounis-----------Mpakasetas---

--------------------------Mitroglou------------------------------

This is according to SprtFM.  Where the hell is Maniatis playing nowadays, and how is he doing?

Left Flank considering Stafilidis will be a LDM is gonna be a dissaster.

Cypriots have to face Bakasetas up front, who is totally terrible as a winger. Up next Stafylidis who is pacey/tryharding but not a proper midfielder and quite short to get high balls. Last you have TzaVellas. They re gonna attack only from their Right.

Maniatis was told to find a new club in the summer by Olympiacos. He said he couldn't find one. Bento assessed him before the first Super League game. Bento decided he was not good enough to play for Olympiacos. He was not even good enough to train with Olympiacos. So Maniatis has not played a single game this season, has not had a single training session with Olympiacos - and trains alone - while still getting paid by Olympiacos.

There are 2 possibilities : Either the Visma is strong with these players  , Maniatis and Tziolis, or they really have some attributes that are needed from Skibbe and they provide good service which cannot be seen - Like Sergio Busquets of Barcelona. Remember that Vydra was not only a solid player of the National Team. He was also a solid starter of Panathinaikos with many coaches.

A little research shows thant Loukas Vyntra was at Pao in the 2004-2013 period with 230 official matches. In that period Pao changed ~ 10 managers. He obviously was a starter under most of them if not all, with so many appearances.

Not to mention that after Pao he became a starter at a La Liga Club. Not the best (although they reached a Europa League spot during his time there), but a bigger championship team got interested in him.

There is always a possibility that not everyone can be a coach to judge. That possibility, everyone seems to forget.

I don't try to defend anyone. But the 6 and 8 positions with Samaris missing seem to be problematic. And the option to pick players who have not had playing time under their belts for a few months is also problematic. I really hope the SPOR FM starting 11 is not the one we see. At least one of the Bakasetas/Tzavellas needs to be changed on that flank. Cypriots have fast players who can make us regret living with a counter attack.

ESPN3 in Australia and in the US is an online streaming service. It is also known as WatchESPN. Not sure how it works in Australia, but here in the US if you subscribe to the regular ESPN channels via satellite or cable you have online access to ESPN3. Of course you need to provide your credentials that you subscribe to those ESPN channels.

The game against Estonia will also be on ESPN3, both in the US and Australia.

Panagi

Demetriou -Junior -Antoniades - Charalambous

Artymatas - Laban

Laifis/Efraim - Kastanos - Efraim/Laifis

Mitidis

This is the only line up that makes sense.

It looks to me like they are comming for a draw.

Demetriou/Junior/Antoniades/Charalambous/Artymatas/Laifis are all defensive players. Laifis in his team plays as a fullback.

They re gonna try to keep the 0 and hit counterattack with Efraim and Laifis speed.

I don't think this is the best XI Skibbe can put together with the available players. Stafylidis in LDM over K Papadopoulos and Tachtsidis? Tzavellas over Holebas?

Anyhow, I have confidence in our stars to see this one through.
