PAOK in Europe 2016-2017

There are plenty of teams here we can beat. Just have to cross our fingers, I guess. My choices:

Preferred: Copenhagen/APOEL/Osmanlispor/Genk/Sparta Prague

Can possibly swing it: Tottenham/Lyon/Besiktas/Ajax

Death - the rest of them

gonna be tough whoever we get. If we can keep a clean sheet at home in the first leg, we are on. We are a huge threat on the counter, with Rodrigues, Djalma and matos/Leovac overlapping. Most of our eliminations in knockout football over the last 5-6 years has come because of poor results at home. Away we go and perform, defend well, hard and counter with intent. Then s%$#! the bed in toumba (see ajax both times, CSKA, Udinese and as we know our last 2 europa league group stage eliminations have come from not being able to get points at home)

So happy that we are playing knockout football in Europe again. Can't wait for the games.

Just having a quick look at there squad and (on paper at least) they don't look any better than what they were when we played them 3 years ago.
The question is, are we a better team? probably yes, hard to say.

Clean sheet in the first leg at home and we'll be in with a fighting chance
