pash Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 So two hideous jerseys + one good one. Sad days for PAOK fans.
Tahma Posted July 30, 2018 Posted July 30, 2018 Really am a fan of the home strip, not too sure about the collar though...may need to think twice before purchasing.
Dutch Eagle Posted August 4, 2018 Posted August 4, 2018 16,204 after today’s sales only via internet. From Monday ticket are avalaible again at the counters of Toumba.
Dutch Eagle Posted August 5, 2018 Posted August 5, 2018 128 season tickets sold today through the net. The count is 16,322.
Yiankos Posted August 7, 2018 Posted August 7, 2018 Now, let's hope all the games will be played with fans and all the games will start and finish! 1

Hopefully this becomes the new “normal” and maybe even crack 20K consistently in years to come. Related to this ... any news on the stadium ? Is it going ahead ? There was talk over playing at Kaftazoglio for 2 years but haven’t heard anything lately. I wonder if these sorts of membership numbers might make the club revise the capacity of the stadium they intended to build.
Blackhawk Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 New stadium was delayed by government paper work (what else is new). As a side note, Savvidis two days ago said the he will return to see PAOK at the new stadium.
pash Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 In what way? Meaning he won't be coming back until we build a new stadium? Cool.
Blackhawk Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Well he is banned for 3 years from attending any games so it kind of works out for him. Not sure if its only for domestic games though.
pash Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 I think a few of the sites made the point that he's not banned for European games. Not sure if he attended the past ones though. He definitely was there to hug the players outside the stadium, however.
DunfermlineAthleticPAOK Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Is there a worry that a new stadium could have a negative impact in anyway? Toumba has such a rich history which you can feel. Also, the way that the fans (especially Gate 4) manifests itself is so unique.. is there a worry that a new stadium could sanitise this? In scotland, England . New stadiums with seating, too much security and fans being controlled too much etc have been a contributing factor in killing the atmosphere. Maybe I am overly worried because of experiencing this in Scotland. I just would hate to think something being lost with a new stadium. The idea of a stadium with a roof full of PAOK fans is pretty frightening and would be deafening. Harder for smoke to disperse though...
Dutch Eagle Posted August 10, 2018 Posted August 10, 2018 Savvidis is not banned outside Greece. The place where he hugged all the players and staff is just a public road. EPO or SL has no jurisdiction there. On Wednesday there is a market there. Five cucumbers for only EUR 1.00 last year when I bought the Olimpik Donetsk-tickets!
Tahma Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 We need some covering around the whole stadium as well as eliminating those pointless running tracks. Hopefully they can create a nice modern design, would love to see our Omatha play in some style.
pash Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 Virtually every plan I've heard rumored says they're going to sink the pitch so they could add more rows of seating down closer, which would mean to me that the track is going to disappear. It would have to, as there isn't much additional space there. I just hope they DO sanitize Gate 4. I want actual security, so it becomes impossible to throw objects (and themselves) onto the field. I'm so sick and tired of those gutless pricks. 1

There will be no security, no one's controlling anyone, and about it being new...new toumba will have a nice broken in feel REAL quick. 1

Inflation file, this year 4 cucumbers for 1 euro haha
Yiankos Posted August 11, 2018 Posted August 11, 2018 I don't see a new stadium in less than 2-3 years. I hope during those years the growth of our team will "educate" our fans not to do stupid things anymore.
Dutch Eagle Posted August 18, 2018 Posted August 18, 2018 17,737 diarkias so far with one week to go. The expectation is that we will catch the 21K as the tickets for the homegame against Benfica are only sold through the net and prices will be skyhigh.
