pash Posted May 25, 2017 Posted May 25, 2017 I agree, I don't see him moving there unless they absolutely break the bank for him. And teams don't generally do that for CBs
Argy Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 (edited) It is reported that he signed a 3-year permanent deal with Hamburg. He's better than that club in its current form, but it could have been worse. Remaining in Bundesliga is a success on its own. Edited June 22, 2017 by Argy
Brklyngrk Posted June 22, 2017 Posted June 22, 2017 He performed well for them when he came there, I believe they only lost one game when he played. If he plays well, he may not be there for too long.
Argy Posted June 24, 2017 Posted June 24, 2017 If he stays healthy, he is bigger than Hamburg. Glad to still see him in a respectable club though.
Rockafeller Skank Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Good move. in a team where he ll have solid playtime. Hamburg is a historic team. Lately being poor but I doubt they ll keep up being bottom tier much. Also I heard they re building a team for this year.
Argy Posted October 17, 2017 Posted October 17, 2017 Anyone know why he wasn't in the squad last matchday?

La Mendel Posted December 15, 2017 Posted December 15, 2017 He scored last week but they lost to Eintracht Frankfurt (1-2).
pash Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 His team looks very likely to relegate at this point. Apparently he'd be one of the first to be sold, as his contract is simply too large to be tenable for a second-division team. So, ironically, by failing he may end up at a better team.
Argy Posted March 6, 2018 Posted March 6, 2018 Hamburg have some pedigree, but unfortunately they are on hard times right now. I am a fan of KPap and want to see him on a quality side now that he seems to be healthy and entering his prime as a CB. Definitely don`t want to see him in 2.Bundesliga.
paokarag4 Posted April 1, 2018 Posted April 1, 2018 Looks like he has had a falling out with Hamburger coach and the board has taken exception to his behaviour. I read when he was benched a couple of games a go, he came out post game and said he couldn't believe he and another player (don't recall his name) didn't play and Hamburger have no chance of winning games without them. Hard to see him make his way back in this season unless they change coach. Not looking good for them regardless, relegation is almost certain unless they can do a 180 on their form. He was destined to leave at the end of this season regardless
Boxou Posted April 4, 2018 Posted April 4, 2018 he just makes sure they won't keep him on the team as they will get relegated. that's smart basically, but the attidute is bitchy.
La Mendel Posted May 16, 2018 Posted May 16, 2018 Although Hamburg won in the last round, they were relegated from Bundesliga.
Alphonse Posted May 17, 2018 Posted May 17, 2018 Interesting to see where K Paps goes for next season
Alphonse Posted May 20, 2018 Posted May 20, 2018 And looks like he will stay there and fight for promotion with them... that’s the early mail

pash Posted May 31, 2018 Posted May 31, 2018 If he can't find someone who will take him, then he'll be an unsuccessful one.
Argy Posted July 19, 2018 Posted July 19, 2018 It is being reported by Sport24 and according to several German sources, that he is on his way out of Hamburg, who have been relegated to 2.Bundesliga. Apparently FC Krasnodar is pursuing him closely; They finished 4th in the Russian Premier League last season.
Argy Posted July 23, 2018 Posted July 23, 2018 Reports are now indicating that KPap will undergo yet another knee surgery that will keep him out for the next 5 months. He will remain with relegated Hamburg. This could be the beginning of the end for a player who was once one of the more promising Greeks of his generation. Sad.
Dean97 Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 Has anyone realised this player has been injury prone since 2012. That’s 7 years of him being in and out of action. Also during that time he had very serious injuries with his knees and slowed him down a lot. Does anyone know what’s up with him now??
Argy Posted February 1, 2019 Posted February 1, 2019 He was a sure bet with Sokratis/Manolas quality but injuries decimated his career.
