Torontoblue Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 I'm sure Santos will be happy with this. Wales will be easier opponent for them then Belgium.
Giourkas Posted July 1, 2016 Posted July 1, 2016 (edited) Go Wales!! I want Bale to show Ronaldo how it's done!! (And to see CR7 cry of course! ;) ) And England will burn as well.... Edited July 1, 2016 by Giourkas 1
RED SHERIFF Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 we cant read much into this result in relation to Belgium v Greece in March 2017
Torontoblue Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Belgium was missing 3 important defenders and Wilmots got it wrong bringing on fellani when it was only 1-1.
Bananas Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Fairy tale stuff by Wales. A pleasure to watch. Good on them. As for Belgium, a massive opportunity missed. Player for player, Belgium should be beating Wales 4-0 any day of the week.
Green Man Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 getttttttttttttttttt in walessssssssssssssssssssssssssss no fear now anything is possible      1
Green Man Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 I hope Portugal pulverise them. 24 teams has made for a worse tournament but I'm not gonna complain since it massively improves our chances of qualifying for the next one. still bitter about england choking its nothing normal you know ;)
pash Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 Going to be interesting, seeing an Iceland-Wales final. 1
pash Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 but but but kpaps is needed omg we should put him as both a cb and a dm he can do both at the same time 1
pash Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 That tied the longest penalty shootout in EURO history. Glad Germany won. Great saves by Neuer, they ended up being the difference here.
GreekLunatic Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 So conte rides into the sunset as coach of the azzuri I think the winner will come from the German vs France or Iceland match
pash Posted July 2, 2016 Posted July 2, 2016 I don't think Neuer was even tested some of the worst penalties by Italy not like he was Navas vs Greece. The fact that he blocked two was enough. Both teams looked like they were angry at the moon.
RED SHERIFF Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 I hope Skibbe is taking notes and watching Euro 2016 carefully.. From what I have seen so far an organised structured team, with passion and commitment following a good game plan and go far... Greece needs to find the formula and mind set..we have decent enough footballers.. 1
Dutch Eagle Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Has anyone else heard this? All English based players that have taken a penalty in this tournament have all missed. Not true: Rooney (England) and Brady (Rep. of Ireland) are English based players. But this was THE opportunity to kick out the Krouts on penalties. Since 1976 with the brilliant Panenka the Germans never missed a penalty. Either during the match, either in a penalty shoot-out. Ozil was the first to mis after 40 years in the game against Slovakia. Three kicks were missed during the initial 5.......
Dutch Eagle Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Germany missing a few for the next match. Only Hummels due to cards. Probably Khedira due to an injury, but Germany has not confirmed yet.
pash Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Khedira out is a tough break, but it at least seemed to me that Schweinsteiger was at least able to play a full game, finally.
pash Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Wonderful goal by Giroud just now to bring France up 1-0
Dutch Eagle Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 Giroud and Koscielny will be subbed I guess in order to avoid suspension in the semi. The score allows that now.
pash Posted July 3, 2016 Posted July 3, 2016 It was the right move. No need to risk him, even though he would certainly have scored that hat trick.
