Looks like Malezas is ready to go. Taking that into account I would change my defense and give Leovac who is not 100% fit some rest until Sunday: Matos - Varela - Malezas -Crespo I would prefer Crespo over Kitsiou on left side. I would keep him on the bench to give Matos some rest in 2nd half.

Not to be outdone by Marinakis's Alter Ego, Savvidis through his company Dimera has made an offer to Superleague to become the official sponsor of the league. His offer is for 2.5 mil per year for two years, which is 500K more per year than Marinakis offered. Superleague will hold an emergency meeting to decide if they will allow Savvidis's offer, since it came after the deadline for offers has passed. Couple thoughts on the matter: - it's clearly shows what a Mickey Mouse league Superleague is. For only 2.5 mil (or less) you can be the official sponsor - it's quite silly for a corrupted league such as Superleague and Greek soccer is to allow a majority shareholder of one of the teams to be the official sponsor of the whole league

Viktoras Mitrepoulos used to be the President of EPAE, the organization running 2nd Division (these days Football League). Before that he was the president of Aigaleo and Karditsa. These days he is behind the Imerisia newspaper. He is also the brother of Thomas Mitropoulos who was president of Aigaleo in 2002 during the game fixing scandal. That's when Thomas Mitropoulos was heard on tape saying: "F*** everybody else as long as Olympiakos and Aigaleo win", when he tried to influence referee assignments. Viktoras tried couple times to become the EPO president, but failed against Gagatsis amd Pilavios. I think with this legal action he is trying to somehow once again get involved with EPO. I am almost certain that his move was also backed by the faction supported by Olympiakos and was certain to lose the EPO elections that were going to be held on October 26.

Kontonis, the Undersecretary of Sports, closed Gate 4 for the pitch invasion against Olympiakos in the cup last season. He did the same to Gate 13 in the past. Stupid move, since those fans just go to different gates during the ban. How about just catching the trouble makers and banning them from the games?
