So far he has been excellent. Clears out anything Panionios brings into the box. We have serious problems transitioning from midfield to offense.

try this in the meantime: http://videostream.dn.ua/videopage/videoPage.php?g=c2JyY3ZsK2FuY3VkcWdZ&c=en&i=eWl6aXFnc2hxZQ%E2%84%96f%E2%20%84%96f&hc_location=ufi

Well the one surprise I expected happened. Panathinaikos was knocked out of the cup by Atromitos. Hopefully PAOK can overcome Panionios and make it to the semifinals. PAOK - Panionios ---, 1:1 Asteras - Olympiakos 1:1, 0:5 Iraklis - AEK 0:1, 1:4 Atromitos - Panathinaikos 1:0, 0:0

Looks like Tudor will use the same lineup as in the game with Olympiakos. The only difference will be Skondras as LB in lace of Tzavellas.
-
Mak will sit this one out due to cards. We will basically have no offense in this game. Only Klaus and Berbatov. Hopefully Mystakidis will be ok to play.

Anybody got the anniversary jersey yet? It apparently comes in a box with a commemorative book. I just hope they don't do anything so stupid as to place a Sportingbet logo on the front.

Except for Tzavellas, who is serving his red card ban. I expect Skondras to play as LB. If Kitsiou can overcome the stomach flu, he will play as RB.
-
Out of the 3 only Konstantinidis worthy staying with PAOK, but unfortunately he is mostly injured.
-
Under the circumstances we played a good game, even though it looked bleak after they scored. Cimirot and Chatziisias our best players. Everybody else just average. Officiating as usual in an Olympiakos game just laughable. We have a more important game on Thursday.
-
Some details about the PAOK TV rights in this interview:
-
Apparently Tudor is thinking of using this lineup" --------------------- Vellidis ------------------- Kitsiou - Vitor - Chatziisaiaas - Tzavellas --------- Tziolis --------------- Cimirot ------ -- Pelkas ------- Berbatov --------- Mak -- ---------------------- Klaus ------------------- I think this lineup is a recipe for disaster. What does Malezas and Kace have to do to get a start?

PAOKSWEDEN, there is already a deal that includes all the teams. The problem is that PAOK is the only Superleague team that opted out of this deal. That's why the PAOK home games are not available outside of Greece. In order to keep us happy PAE PAOK lets Laola stream the games. Like you said this will probably end, when this new company finds a broadcaster to show the games.

Superleague/Football League/Greek Cup TV Coverage
Blackhawk replied to Blackhawk's topic in TV, Radio, Video, Gaming & Media
You really think Fox Sports would be interested in PAOK Superleague games? Really doubt that. They are probably going to get a deal in Europe before US/Australia, specially in the German market. -
Because the only reason why they are not showing the PAOK games right now is because PAOK did not sign the deal with them to begin with, so I don't see them contradicting themselves now. If they wanted to do that they would have signed a separate deal with PAOK instead of going through a Jewish middleman. The only option I see this company is setting a pay-per-view channel available through satellite/cable/internet to show the games.

Superleague/Football League/Greek Cup TV Coverage
Blackhawk replied to Blackhawk's topic in TV, Radio, Video, Gaming & Media
True, but who would actually be interested to show those games besides Sport Plus and Antenna Group in USA, Canada and Australia? Since those two broadcasters are cooperating with Superleague/NOVA to collectively show the games, I don't see them buying the rights to PAOK games from the Israeli middle man. -
They did not practice today due to injuries.
-
Well Laola is a legit source and it's not a bad arrangement, but not everyone has the access to internet. Specially the old-timers, like my father for example. I am not sure who will this Israeli firm sub-license the rights to? I don't see Sport Plus and Antenna group getting the games, since they are cooperating with Superleague (and NOVA) to show the remaining 15 teams. Who else is left out there? The only remaining Greek satellite stations are MEGA Cosmos and Alpha SAT, and I don't see them getting the games either. Don't fool ourselves, I don't think any non-Greek channel would be willing to show the games.

Superleague/Football League/Greek Cup TV Coverage
Blackhawk replied to Blackhawk's topic in TV, Radio, Video, Gaming & Media
PAOK has licensed the international television rights to their home games to Davnis Sports until the end of the 2016-2017 season. This probably means the end of Laola1.TV streams, as well as the possibility of PAOK home games coming back to either Sport Plus or Antenna Satellite/Pacific. The question is who else might be interested in showing the games. I really don't see any alternatives. -
Well the Laola streams issues might not matter anymore since ...
-
I'll take him over Klaus any day. The problem is that there is nobody providing any service to him or Klaus for that matter. In this game PAOK needs to play a formation like they did in Dortmund utilizing counter attacks and counting on some luck defensively. Unfortunately most players to play this system are currently injured. Since Korovesis and Mystakidis might also be out for this one along with the previous absentees, my lineup for this game would look like this: ----------------------- Vellidis -------------------- ---- Vitor ------- Malezas ------Tzavellas --- Kitsiou ---- Tziolis - Cimirot - Kace - Sabo ----------- Berbatov --------- Mak --------------
-
Unbelievable. EPO has assigned Alexandros Dimitropoulos as the referee for this game. In case anyone is wondering, he is one of the refs that is implicated in the football organized crime scandal and has been banned from leaving the country until trial takes place.

No, I try to watch it through the web browser on my Smart TV. It worked ok until about 1 month ago, but the last two games it is asking for a premium account. Have no problem on the laptop using either Google Chrome or IE Explorer. Not a big deal as I can connect the laptop to the TV.
