I cant understand why JVS didnt call up Fountas and called up Staf? Your right he called up alot of LBs. Athanasiadis deserved a call up after his CL form but Vlachodimos is going to get all the starts. Kolovos could have been more useful for us in the midfield and he has helped the NT in the past. Lets hope Masouras brings it like he did today for OLY. He was unstoppable.

PAOK always gets results when we are not favorites. I think we will do well against Copenhagen. It's the Slovans and Imps games that worry me. Taylor has been good the last couple games. Most goals we sore come with his involvement. Our problems are midfield and very slow and unreliable defense. Mihaj and Michailidis in 2nd half our worst players today.

Athanasiadis wouldn't have started but does deserve consideration. Giakoumakis played his first game today in months. I do agree Fountas deserved it over Stafylidis.

They are a sh!t team. They lost to Shamrock Rovers and the EO swept them aside. There is no excuse for drawing against a side who could only foul and knock it up to the black lad who, to be fair, isn't a bad player. Michailidis belongs in the B team. He is simply not good enough to be in the first team. He is a liability in defence and wastes the ball too many times trying to hit Hollywood balls cross field. He can barely stand on his own two feet. The subs did absolutely nothing to change the game, although Karol held the ball up quite well. All in all, that was a dreadful performance and if we play like that against Copenhagen we haven't got a song and dance. I really feel for Zivkovic. He was unstoppable when he first came and now he has sunk down to our level. Good look trying to get a move now. It's nights like these where I question Lucescu. We should have started with the same 11 who started against AEK - why did he choose this game to rotate? This should have been 2/2 with rotation against OFI on Sunday. He has to take the blame for tonight's result (though I am sure he won't).

Fountas or Giakoumakis should’ve been called. Both are our best in front of goal and the numbers they have done in the past speak for themselves. Doesn’t make sense to call Stafylidis as we have way better LBs now and he isn’t a CB. There shouldn’t have to be 4-5 LBs in this team. Athanasiadis deserves to be here. He has been doing very well for a long time and was man of the match against Real Madrid. He’s been impressive. Kolovos also seems to be inform aswell. I’m hoping we see the old Limnios because he can be dangerous for us when he’s playing well and Masouras is in the best form he’s ever been.

Although I hated the concept of the Conference League at first, I think it might actually be a good thing for a lot of the smaller teams in the long run. Playing with more level competition and earning some extra money and points for their country. It doesn't have the prestige of Champions League, but it may be a good stepping stone for a lot of teams.
