When a small team goes against a big team, it has to capitalize on as many opportunities as possible, because big teams will adapt to your play and eventually shut you down. It's law. Klaus' job is to put those easy ones in. We don't expect any fancy footwork or dribbling skills from him. We barely even expect him to pass the ball or move it particularly well. But the 1 on 1 lob over the goalie should be second nature to a striker of his style....he hit it 30 feet off target from 15 feet away.3 points

Fetfatzidis is a washed up turning 26 year old failure of potential playing the the Saudi Arabia league. He has absolutely no place in the Ethniki2 points

Wow I didn't realize vagner love still played. I remember that 2011 match vs CSKA ... That was the same game that we got scored on by Necid : /Also, aris was playing in Europe then. It seems like soooo long ago.1 point

We did NOT play Dinamo Tbilisi. We played Lokomotiva Tbilisi in 1999-2000 7:0 win in Tbilisi (Georgiadis 2, Frouso 2, Sabry, Maragos, Frantzeskos - our biggest European win ever score wise. 2:0 in Toumba (Valencia, Salpiggidis) In late 1970's, early 1980's Dinamo Tbilisi had one of the better European sides, even wining the Cup Winners Cup in 1980-81. They were part of USSR them. Thats the season that Kastoria played them. 0:0 at Kaftanzoglio, 0:2 in Tbilisi.1 point

Take it down a notch, we've actually topped our groups on more than 1 occasion....1 point

Perhaps so, but this year we have more depth than last year. I, personally, love our nights in European matches more than pretty much anything we do.1 point

Hmm Martinez was for the most part a dud at Everton but that doesn't mean he can't succeed with the talent in the Belgium squad. I too wish Wilmots was still the coach. That Guy was a glorified chaperone. He had no idea.1 point

It's not just about the formation, but also about your opponent. Against a team weaker than Greece, that formation is probably ok. Against Belgium, we're conceding 4.1 point

Once Ajax made it 1:1, the game changed because Ajax weren't forced to press for a goal. From the beginning of the game until they scored, we broke their lines 4 or 5 times. Afterwards, I don't think we did at all, because they didn't have to get a goal as such. They could afford to be a bit more patient and not play such a high defensive line. We should have scored at least a 2nd goal during that 1st half spell.1 point

@Klaous...we need to do both... We need the EL to keep building our points each year... AND win the bloody league after all these years1 point

Our ranking is 52, behind Panama, Scotland, South Korea, Iran and Albania. Players like Fetfatzides are rare talent, who on their day can win a match or turn a match. As long as he's fit, at 26 he should at least be a squad player for the NT. Never really got a chance under Santos. He can control a ball, pass it, dribble, run with it and shoot it, better than most in the squad. He's also got smarts on the field as that video shows. Not good to be dismissing talented players given our current ranking.1 point

let them sit in their own bubble here they are saying wed jump at the chance of having marinakis and his success hahaha umm he was within an inch of getting killed in leoforos by a fotovolida. you can stick your petsina where the sun doesnt shine id rather an empty trophy cabinet than a fat slob who has only reinvested cl money ( none of his own ) due to compromising the local bbq league along with epo and their satelite teams who open their legs entos kai ektos like the local prostitutes in kings cross1 point

Its clear the difference between Pao fans and Oly fans in ethics and class.1 point

The day Pao would get an owner like Marinakis is the day i stop following them. How can you be proud of having a drug dealer owner?1 point

I note some sarcasm there Tzatziki? It hasnt worked great for us. The V family did the same to Pao what Marinakis is doing to you. But at least they didnt destroy the league and the National team in the process. So just to understand your thought process as long as Olympiakos wins no matter how thats what counts for you?1 point
-
marinakis is implicated has been clamped down like a blow torch coaches flee after winning titles ( red flag???) i think so selling roberto and friends they get the 50-50 against camel fc and lose over 2 legs1 point

I will never forget all the s%$#! talking marinakis did about cisse and pao after the disgraceful game in karaiskaki in 2011. It would be so hilarious to me if he just used olympiakos and their cl money to get Nottingham forest.1 point

Fetfatzidi is nowhere near Weiss's level, don't kid yourself.1 point

Greeko, calm down and have a Beer (no pun intended) W out threats to refs, Oly continues to prove that they cannot win. It's the same crap every year, At best, oly seasons usually last till Christmas and then it's over. Panatha has left a name for themselves in Europe. What our eyes have seen, u will never know the feeling. Just because the years of corruption is finally catching up, don't run and blame others. Have a nice day.1 point
