Charisis is under contract for one more season as well, though I am aware that Lucescu isn't gonna keep him around. paokarag4
You would think this signing officially stamps Kace's papers and he's out of here. Starting to have some real depth in midfield now. Esiti, El Kaddouri, Douglas Augusto and Misic. Wernbloom stared training fully today and with Maurcio to come back during the season. Is that too many? The 4 will probably remain as there is no guarantee in what type of shape Maurcio and Wernbloom will return in.

I would not be too surprised if Kace stays until winter, depending on Wernbloom's recovery. Mostly because Ferreira wants two people to compete for each position. Unclear if Wernbloom will be able to do that ? I still don't know why we took Misic. I think he's just fine as a player but he was never going to make a push for a starter role... Dutch Eagle
We extended the contracts with Yiannis Michailidis and Apostolos Diamantis (now on loan at Volos). Both - in the year 2000 born - players signed till the summer of 2023.
pash
Considering how many starlets we cut in 2019, it is interesting that we extended these guys. Perhaps it is a very good sign as to their development.
Dutch Eagle
We extended the contracts of: - Matos with one year (ends now June 30th 2021) as he reached the required amount of games. Matos would like to ad one year more to that. This will be negotiated after the play offs. - Warda with six months (ends now June 30th 2021) as we had this option and we don’t want him to have the opportunity to negotiate with others team from tomorrow. - Vieirinha with one month (ends now after the current season/play offs) in order to have him the upcoming six matches. I guess they will sign him for one season (or two seasons) more after the play offs - Mauricio with one month (ends now after the current season/play offs) in order to have him the upcoming six matches. Don’t think he will be playing for us next season.
pash
All good moves (though Matos's was automatic anyway right? Or does it require mutual consent) For me, re-signing Vieirinha is important, but he needs to take a pay cut. Let Mauricio walk, his salary would cover literally three or four youth players, even if they get offered new deals (I think Tzolis already did?) If we were to get rid of Wernbloom and El Kaddouri, and sell two of our GKs (I don't really care who), I think we'd be in much better shape. I still think Stoch should stay but hey, what do I know? It's such a shame how Warda turned out. Such incredible potential. I wonder if Ferreira will try to bring him to the preseason camp, or if the team administration will have learned their lesson. paokarag4
I wouldn't be bringing Warda anywhere, people like him don't change. He's destined to be a mid to low table level player because of how he carries himself. Even in footballing terms I never saw him do anything special for PAOK a few glimpses but nothing that makes me feel like we missed an opportunity to have a very good player. Fair enough if someone argues he wasn't really given a fair run at it with PAOK but there are reasons for that. He showed his best form for Atromitos a mid-table team who had a good season.
