It was disgraceful to see 2 referees couldnt see that it was offside. Were going bad in the division as well now. placed 2nd behind fener. Hasan came in on the 90+2 minute and scored in the 90+3 minute. Hasan Kabze's Goal Necati's Goal Cihan's Goal Hakan Sukur and Hasan Sas didnt play a part in the fixture due to injury... He was wasted at Besiktas for his pains along with Emre Asik and Tayfun and now at 23, he will have a chance to prove himself at a much more stable -at least in terms of league position- club... The prolific striker's remarks follow an attack on him at the Konya Airport by the leaders of UltrAslan Fan Group. Newspapers and media stories reported that the player was punched by a group of "hooligans". Coach Eric Gerets stated after the attack that "It was an attack on himself and on whole club not solely on Necati." In the Istanbul-Konya flight, the team travelled with a private plane. But for the return, they travelled with a normal plane, I don't know the reason. So there were other people in the plane, and a group of around 15 "fans" entered among the last passengers and insulted and also hit some people of our staff and Necati. Canaydin made an announcement, and praised "the fans not to make this anymore." Does he believe that these 15 idiots are in any case representative of the fans ? Instead of putting all gs fans in the same basket, he should say these guys are idiots, they will be hardly punished ! It seems these guys are a small group who are following everywhere the Kapali stand leaders. The Kapali stand leaders are the masters of the stand, and they hit other fans, when they think their power can be in danger. They earn money with touts selling tickets, the club gives them for free. They were respected before, because they are present since the 80s but now many people hate them because they are like dictators. It is these stand leaders who were screaming "Hagi resign", as all Gala fans were chanting for Hagi. They also hit fans, who were singing against the arrival of Fatih Akyel and for other reasons also. They are like a mafia, and many people don't come to the stadium no more because of them, or go to other stands. I don't care for how much time they are behind the team, but nobody can allow some people to bring "terror" in the stands, and now to hit players, with their friends. The club has clearly to get rid of these guys, instead of protecting them, and giving them free tickets. This even is totally unbelievable and unforgivable. All the values who made the greatness of our club are going away slowly because of this organized mafia : screaming against people who made us kings of europe like HAGI, hitting other fans, hitting players... GS1905 Posted February 14, 2006 Author Share Posted February 14, 2006 Gerets said he suffered a whole bunch of things in his 6 months at Galatasaray which he has never seen in his 16 year coaching career but he also said he was deligthed to have joined Galatasaray and he also admitted he now understands why Galatasaray is such a big club. He added that the players all are wonderful professionals after their 6-0 demolishing of Gaziantepspor.
