Dutch Eagle Posted September 18 Posted September 18 Matchday 2 and the second away. Not sure wich team the Ethniki will face as new Bundestrainer Jürgen Klopp has announced a squad of 44 players which will be devided in the first two and last two matchdays.
kolokotronis99tripoli Posted September 26 Posted September 26 If and big if. We can shock everyone and squeak out a win, our Serbian brothers tie the Dutch… we can realistically be in a position to not just secure top 3 in the group, but maybe even compete in this Nations League tournament! Yea yea all we did was beat Serbia but in the last 15 yrs that game would have ended in a tie or loss for us 99% of the time. I am choosing to be hopeful again. The Dutch and the Germans are both not at their best. Klopp will need some time to get his culture into the program. Who’s to say we can’t finish second in this group and leap frog one of them? PAME 3
pash Posted September 26 Posted September 26 I was just thinking how if there's any time we can sneak away with a result against Germany, this might be it - before Klopp gets his game properly instilled in a German team that's probably still reeling after the cup. We'll see! 1
J1078 Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Getting anything out of this game would be absolutely massive for this teams confidence.

Dutch Eagle Posted September 27 Author Posted September 27 The other match in the group just finished: SRB - NED 1-2.
PaokCT Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Both teams sloppy in attacking third. Tetteh doesn’t seem to be on the same page a lot of times. We aren’t linking well. Defending good though. 0-0 25’ in
kolokotronis99tripoli Posted September 27 Posted September 27 We have had no possession. We are lucky Tziolakis is in a good mood today.
ChrisT Posted September 27 Posted September 27 It's depressingly all one way traffic. We're not creating any chances. Need to change something.
PaokCT Posted September 27 Posted September 27 One way traffic but no real threat. Just one shot that was easily saved. Greece will be happy so far
J1078 Posted September 27 Posted September 27 I didn’t think they were that bad. They had a few poor moments, but they didn’t give up the early lead. Hopefully they can settle into the game now and start playing with a little more confidence.
ChrisT Posted September 27 Posted September 27 We only really had one shot of note, a Karetsas shot after a smart move which narrowly went over.
Brklyngrk Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Overall - we are just inviting pressure. Why does Tzolakis kick the ball for every goal kick? It just goes back to Germany. it seems we have been instructed to give them the ball and counter. We only pressed them for 15 seconds at the end of the half.
PaokCT Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Zafeiris having a rough game. Our middle is so outmatched.
kolokotronis99tripoli Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Again … why ionnidis kostoulas can hold up so much better
J1078 Posted September 27 Posted September 27 Kourbelis always worries me for a sloppy tackle inside the box..
