Yeah we won't get any help from them. Even with wins by them we should still be in 22nd place. Incidentally, Slavia Prague is in a not hugely dissimilar position from us after last match day - a win vs us and then again vs Malmo on the last match day should bring them into the play offs. So this next game needs to be taken just as seriously as this one.

Surprisingly, we might even have a chance at being seeded in this draw, if we win both of these games. We're level on points with Real Sociedad right now, but they have a game in hand. Not gonna hold my breath here.

 

Anyway, a thought - over the past month Ozdoyev has looked very good. I remember a few months ago that the PAOK Today guys were saying that in other seasons, had we picked up someone like Ozdoyev we would have thought him the "bam" signing. Of course, his performances over the first year did not live up to that. But I'm going from thinking he's a cut-rate Schwab to thinking of him more as a Mauricio, believe it or not.

Ozdoev and Zivkovic were solid, but full credit needs to be given Despodov when he came on. Konstantelias also had a very good game. We need to beat Slavia in the next game. Just a real shame we dropped points against the Romanians and lost to one of the worst Manchester United teams ever.

When I credit him too much, people get upset! Though in this game, Zivkovic was still quite impressive.

Either way, if there's any time the team needs to get its s%$#! together, this is it. And it feels like they might actually have done it.
