The linesman should be heavily questioned. Before trying to chalk of their goal he also called a dodgy offside before that when their player was half a metre onside. As usual in one of the counter attacks they score. Game over. Needless to say we should have had a penalty kick in 1st half, and OFI should have played with 10 players from the middle of the first half. paokarag4 Posted September 4, 2023 Share Posted September 4, 2023 Disappointing to lose, seems the big 6 weeks finally caught up to the squad and we put in an average performance. If you had offered me qualification to the Conference League group stage and 6 points from our first 3 league games before a ball had been kicked in July I would have taken it. OFI is a good team who has kept it's core and their coach, plenty of teams will struggle to get a result in Crete this year. International break doesn't come at a bad time for us, allows the new signings time to work with Lucescu and gel with the squad.
